For anyone that loves nature, you must visit this special place. The Ponta da Piedade is a walk along the cliffs of Lagos. The entire walk can be done on a lovely boardwalk to make it safe and easy. The views are stunning!

We are staying a month in the apartment right above the beach. Perfect location. Beautiful views off our balcony. The beach is nice and clean. Unfortunately we are here in February and the ocean is very cold. That being said my husband went in with west-suit vest and was ok. Not for me.
Beautiful setting it will not disappoint

This very long, beautiful beach is world class. An amazing stretch of sand. Very quiet.
It’s a pity that many of the locals insist on taking their dogs onto the beach even though there are signs at every entrance banning dogs, but sadly this rule is not upheld.

We end up here on a windy day when the win d was blowing from the north.

It was perfect to get some shelter from the cliffs so that the umbrella didn’t blow away.

Our decision, as holiday makers, was confirmed by being on the beach with lots and LOTs of locals. It was busy - but there was still plenty of room, and it was a lovely beach.

Fine sand, clear water, two restaurants near the beach. Water sports. Good toilets. Lots of parking.

The swimming pool is great (but deep) ,there was a lot of ice cream stalls & the restaurant food was large but luckily yum. Don’t expect everything you see on the leaflet to be exact because it’s not, the beach looks better on the leaflet. The tortoise near the entrance was walking in circles which might indicate it was stressed. I also saw a man stroke the tortoise which shouldn’t be allowed in my opinion. There are not many obvious signs to stop people doing things that would bother the animals. I did find that lots of the animals were in the same enclosure which was a good thing. Overall it was a pretty good zoo which has pros and cons, I would go again .

We walked the coastal path from Campimar Restaurant on the Porto De Mos Beach be careful as this path is extremely exposed im places and very steep and slippy .
Fantastic scenery on the cliffs and sea great viewpoints along to the lighthouse .
You can go down the steps to the grotto Caves well worth a look then we walked back along the roads to Porto De Mos although there’s a car park so you could drive to the lighthouse great to watch the sunset !!
Probably about a 6km round trip fabulous for an evening walk .

The squares in Lagos have good shopping, food, and entertainment. You can spend the day enjoying a bit of retail therapy, listen to talented musicians while having a coffee, or a drink, then stop for a tasty lunch or dinner.

Fun afternoon learning about the vineyard. Charles showed up around the vineyard explaining the history and processes. This was followed by a tasting of 3 wines with 3 different tapas paired with each wine.
We all had a fun time.

We are so glad we discovered the science centre when we were visiting Lagos. It is a perfect break from the sun and great entertainment for kids and adults alike.

It cost us €18 for our family of four including workshops for the children.

The centre is super interactive, as you would imagine, and has been designed very well.

The staff were friendly and engaging, always happy to give guidance.

Our boys, aged seven and 12, did the robot workshop, which was tons of fun and kept them engaged for at least 30 minutes.

Highly recommend a trip to this place if you are in Lagos with kids.

Well worth having a walk around the Marina in Lagos. Very relaxing visiting the various bars and sitting in the sunshine . Prices better at some bars/ restaurants than others . Worth checking them out before entering
