- Petar-Nino KBrodarica, Croatia1 contributionGreat experience. Nils was a great guide. We saw the whole production process by steps, brewing, packaging, and the whole building.Written 20 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - xiptoTel Aviv, Israel297 contributionsNice museum in a beautiful structure. The Egg rooftop gives the old building an edge and becomes part of the art exhibitions themselves.Written 10 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CoraBobNewton Abbot, UK100 contributionsGood mix of art from the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions. Interesting and well thought out juxtapositions. The selection appears haphazard on occasion with a Tracey Emin stuck in a forgotten corner, which would have been a good fit for a differently themed room. It's easy to spend two hours here even with the cafe closed.Written 29 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Hava KHaifa, Israel92 contributionsAmazing place for people who love stones and crystals. The gift shop was also great, so many choices of crystals..is hard to chooseWritten 24 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RTM1908Rotterdam, The Netherlands274 contributionsWent here for a family celebration with people ranging from 14 to nearly 80. High tea was high quality, everything fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous. There's a small shop on the same level where Bolletje bakery items are sold and a tiny museum up the steps.Written 18 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - egokhanMaastricht, The Netherlands82 contributionsWe really enjoyed the museum visit with our toddler who could run around and get genuinely interested in the topics that were presented in the museum such as the birds flight, ice age animals etc.
It would take approximately 1,5-2h per group if you are with children. They also
Have a large wall with Twente painters work that is nice to see during the visit.
We certainly recommend it for a morning or an afternoon both for groups with or without children.Written 9 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A gorgeous & preserved house museum. Few castles or museum houses I've visited in Netherlands, have lived up to the idea of making a visitor feel that time period or history. Rams Woerthe has done a sublime job of restoring the feel and look to the first floor. The staff were welcoming and nice. They even served a coffee or tea on the beautiful indoor terrace with a traditional Dutch cookie. The house is simply gorgeous and the Art Nouveau style I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area and the park behind the house with the deer is lovely.Written 10 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Excellent venue and staff that tells people about the 2nd WW. Also a good thing they tell you about is the bankheist in Almelo and other 2nd WW things that happend in Nijverdal and surroundings.Written 3 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ArjanS87Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, The Netherlands88 contributionsWe were attracted to this museum mostly due to the forest experience they have for (small) kids, but the inside of the museum is however also very well done.
Throughout some dioramas, but also separate cabinets a very broad display of forest animals can be seen, that one can.. but likely will not see in the woodlands around the museum.
It turned out very educational for children as well and the children's quest they implemented, it remained interactive for both young kids (3 & 5 yo).
The outside forest trail with frog-themed activities finished it all off.Written 26 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You are given a plan of the museum when you buy your tickets at museum. We spent 4 hours here including a coffee break. There were things we saw here that we haven't seen elsewhere. There was something that appealed to each member of the family. Many exhibits were interactive. A member of staff also showed us how some of the exhibits worked and gave an interesting explanation. Exhibits over 3 floors. Lift to each floor. Has cafe and toilets. Staff friendly and speak English if needed. Information about exhibits is in Dutch but we still got a lot from the visit even though we could not read it. A good place to visit in a Sunday as shops usually closed or on a cold or rainy day. I personally would not visit as a place to occupy very young children but everyone else - yes!Written 8 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ausswedamsAmsterdam, The Netherlands68 contributionsWe took three kids, aged 2 to 6 through here on a recent weekend away and everyone really enjoyed it. There was some interesting history but also some fun hands-on activities for the kids. We went towards the end of the day and had the place to ourselves. Could easily have spent longer if we had allowed ourselves more time. The top floor toys and puppet theater were the highlights for our kids!Written 10 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hamel2019Zoetermeer, The Netherlands67 contributionsThe church is huge at the inside. Beautiful room at the end with gold plating and a lot of daylight. A very large wooden preachef stand with beautiful carvings.
A temporary fund raising 2nd hand book selling. Well organised.Written 11 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The museum is really well done and takes about an hour so a perfect change of pace when shopping and eating in Kampen.
