What travellers are saying
- Petar-Nino KBrodarica, Croatia1 contributionGreat experience. Nils was a great guide. We saw the whole production process by steps, brewing, packaging, and the whole building.Written 20 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - xiptoTel Aviv, Israel297 contributionsNice museum in a beautiful structure. The Egg rooftop gives the old building an edge and becomes part of the art exhibitions themselves.Written 10 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Virginia DThe Netherlands49 contributionsWe had a great time at this place. Small children can get measured at the entrance and get a bracelet in the color of their height class. At the entrance of the rides you can see for which color the ride is or isn’t suitable. For young kids there were many things to do. My 3 yo had the best day.Written 28 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Robert ORotterdam, The Netherlands3 933 contributionsVery pleasant square with a large variety of historic buildings dating from the 1500s to art-nouveau early 20th century. Of course the Waag (weighing house) from 1528 stands out.
Unlike Rotterdam or Arnhem the city escaped major destruction during WOII. With a population of just over 100,000 inhabitants, Deventer has kept its laid back Dutch style ambiance and does not feel as 'cosmopolitanized' as the major cities in the west of the Netherlands.
Biggest improvement: the square is car free since 1993. So lots of terraces and space except for market days.Written 5 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The estate is run by a foundation, some of the family who owns it still live there. We never had the time to see the interiors. It’s only guided yours it’s available for; maybe twice a day. Besides, that’ll be Dutch guide for a Dutch group, I don’t know how English will fit into it. So we visited only the gardens although „only” is perhaps a wrong word. The gardens are truly very nice and varied with plenty of ponds, brooks and other water features. The style is mostly English, although it is ornamental around the 19th century orangery. You can have tea at the orangery. Two hours to see the gardens should do. The entry costs 5€ per person plus 2€ for the car park. Drive up close to the barrier to open it by pressing the button. Pay at the automatic booth either by cash or card. The ticket will open the exit. Besides the castle there is also a 4 hectares estate with 9km long walking route to enjoy, so I read.Written 22 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CoraBobNewton Abbot, UK100 contributionsGood mix of art from the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions. Interesting and well thought out juxtapositions. The selection appears haphazard on occasion with a Tracey Emin stuck in a forgotten corner, which would have been a good fit for a differently themed room. It's easy to spend two hours here even with the cafe closed.Written 29 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Giulia80ZAmsterdam, The Netherlands1 634 contributionsIt is an amazing day out for the kids. We were there with friends, so 2 kids of 4.5 yr and 2 of 2.5 yr. Some attractions, like the walking dinos, might be a bit scary for the youngest, but there is plenty to do and discover for everyone. The kids enjoyed a lot also the minigolf. The park can get pretty hot, I would have appreciated some more water-games / small pool to refresh (there is only one water-game, which didn't look really any fun, plus it comes with extra cost.). The dino lunch box is also very nice.Written 10 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Anat MAmsterdam, The Netherlands129 contributionsWorthy.
Nice way to start the visit in the city.
The tower has four floors to visit. Each served for a different purpose. Well maintained. Good explanations.Written 15 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We chose to stay at Nevada Lodge, which was spacious and comfortable enough for our needs. This park was initially called Shetland Pony Park when it first opened in 1963, with only 24 cottages. It was later expanded to become a Leisure & Holiday Park, offering chalets and bungalows located in the heart of the theme park. In 1972, they introduced the "all-in" entrance fee, which meant that you only had to pay once to gain unlimited access to all the attractions. Recently, the park celebrated its 60th anniversary on May 27, 2023. The park has something for everyone, with 40 different rides, rollercoasters, and monorails suitable for all ages and preferences. Additionally, there are 620 accommodations available, as well as the subtropical Aqua Mexicana water park. Some of the park's highlights include the free-fall ride from a height of 40 meters and the thrilling Gold Rush roller coaster that will leave you feeling the fresh breeze through your hair. There are also various restaurants, shops, and two swimming pools, as well as circus and theatre shows that take place daily. Each accommodation comes equipped with a kitchen that includes a gas stove, refrigerator, sink, and kitchenware. During our stay, we enjoyed most of the rides and tried out a variety of food and ice cream from the park's many vendors. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that we won't forget anytime soon.Written 8 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JDSVThe Netherlands315 contributionsNot the largest of the many war cemeteries in Europe, but certainly an emotional experience, reminding one - at a time when Russia unleashed war in Europe - of the horrors of war. Going through the names, and especially the ages of the soldiers buried, one is reminded of the young lives lost to defend Europe from tyranny.Written 15 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
