Museo-Laboratorio di Vetrate Artistiche Moretti Caselli
#1 of 20 Museums in Perugia
Put this studio/museum on the top of your list of things to do while in Perugia!! It's a nice break for kids (and adults!) after days and days of visiting churches, museums, and Roman ruins!
She could be in any of the world's great museums but she's still in the home of those who created her.

Museo-Laboratorio di Tessitura a Mano Giuditta Brozzetti

She was very generous in taking time to explain the museums history and how to the pieces are made.
In fact, some of her pieces are displayed in local museums.

Fondazione Marini Clarelli Santi - Casa Museo degli Oddi

This House Museum is only open on two half days a week so make sure you are in Perugia at the right time.
We visited the house museum on a bright afternoon and the sunlight certainly highlighted the beauty of this house.
Collegio del Cambio

We had a museum card and so stopped in here as part of that list.
Do not miss this small, but very important, museum.

Even if you have visited numerous other great museums (like the Louvre, the Uffici, the Swinger etc) this museum remains a real gem.
House Museum Palazzo Sorbello
#6 of 20 Museums in Perugia
The guided tour in English was an unexpected surprise and I coupled my ticket with the Pozzo Etrusco (Etruscan Well) entry for a mere 6 euro which also made this one of the best value museum experiences I've had.
A unique old palace museum with interesting history.
National Archaeological Museum

Entrance is 5 Euro per person and they are open daily, including Mondays, which is a rarity for most Italian museums.
The museum is well organized and has an amazing amount of Etruscan artifacts (and some Roman).
Perugina Chocolate Factory San Sisto
#8 of 20 Museums in Perugia
The tour includes a friendly guide who takes you through their chocolate museum, from the history of chocolate itself and its introduction to Europe, through the fascinating history of the factory and how it came...
The museum ("Casa del Cioccolato") is always informative, clear, and very interesting-their recently added "Cinema" is a bonus that, along with clips on the company's history and more, goes into more depth on choc...
Pozzo Etrusco

Then walk around the corner into the museum and pay for entry so you can walk down the original marble steps (be careful, they are often wet and a bit slippery) and you can see the opening above and the water below.
There is a combo museum ticket you can visit 5 attractions, I think its better than pay for individual tickets, it's $20 adult, and students pay a discounted price of $10.
Church of San Domenico

The archeology museum next door is an added bonus.
Museo del Capitolo della Cattedrale di San Lorenzo

We have been on tours of historical sites and museums in other places in Italy, in France, the UK, all over the USA, New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.
This museum is small, but book a tour with the lovely guide Chiara and she'll take you beneath the Duomo.
