We booked our Cinque Terre tour with Walkabout Tours using the GetYourGuide app. We spent 10 days in Italy this trip and did 8 guided tours and this trip, with our guide Chris at the helm, was hands-down the best thing we did the entire vacation. Chris is not just incredibly friendly and generous with time and attention, but he also had a ton of logistics to manage simultaneously. With steps to climb, hikes to navigate and trains to catch to move between towns, it’s truly a wonder that Chris was able to simultaneously dispense so much information and knowledge, making each town its own special visit, but also keep track of everyone and make sure all were cared for. I regret not asking his WhatsApp number so we might stay in touch post-trip, or possibly welcome him to the States some day. Chris made this trip truly unforgettable and the scenery of course simply speaks for itself. Thank you Chris!

We had a great day in Cinque Terre and Pisa thanks to our driver Claudius from Milan! He was knowledgeable and kept the trip light and fun. We went in the end of January so it was a bit cold but it was not packed so it was like we had the whole place to ourselves. He had great tips once we were there and even helped us get a reservation at a great restaurant. I recommend him because he gave us our space and time to explore while still keeping our time table at a great pace.

Absolutely fabulous sunset tour. Both Lorenzo and Laura(with the beautiful legs) were fantastic. Both were so knowledgeable about the entire area and very engaging. I highly recommended this tour and would do it again in a heart beat.

The trip was great, our driver Gabriel and guide Giuliano were great. The streets to reach Cinque terre were pretty narrow and the drive was really careful. Giuliano, the guide, took care of us, making sure that we're all present and together, provided some useful information, showed us the great place to have lunch at Monterosso al Mare. To sum up, it was worth going on this trip and I would highly reccommend it.

The best experience we had in Italy! Giulia was the kindest host and taught us to make incredible dishes. We loved ever second and will take our experiences back home to make homemade pasta!

Wonderful day. Laura and Skipper took great care of us. Lunch was delicious and the wine and Prosecco flowed. We were able to swim and enjoy the water. Pointed out landmarks of interest. Personable yet gave you privacy
We would highly recommend a day with them.

Simone called us to say he was there early if we wanted to get started, which we did! His boat was easy to find at the meeting spot in Monterosso. We immediately liked him....he was so friendly, funny and informative throughout the whole trip. We could ask him any question we had & he answered it. His main concern was that we had an enjoyable time, which we did! We saw the five cities of the Cinque Terre and he stopped & let the guys swim (it was a beautiful day in November). The trip included beverages & the local focaccia bread & delicious homemade pesto from his mother! But what impressed us most was the music he played on the trip. We are from Minnesota & the first two songs he played were from Bob Dylan & Prince (who are both from Minnesota)! We were so surprised! Now that is someone who cares enough about his clients to research them! We highly recommend this trip with Simone!!!

Emile was awesome! On time, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable. He shared with us information about the history, culture, and current events important to the sites we visited and the areas we passed along the way. The van was clean and comfortable. He walked with us, but also allowed us some free time. He even carried our bags and purchases back to the van for us so we could explore the last town with ease.

We did this tour during our cruise stop to LeSpezia. There is a lot of walking and waiting but if you don’t want to venture out on your own and figure out the trains, this is a great way to see the 5 little seaside towns.
Note for cruise passengers: you have to shuttle about 10 minutes from the ship to the entrance of the cruise terminal so plan on a little extra time.
    1. Easy 30 minute walk from the cruise terminal to the train station with your guide.
    2. Hop on a train to your first stop. The day we traveled there was a fire at the station before ours so trains were delayed. We waited almost an hour but our guide communicated with us very well.
    3. After enjoying free time in the first town, hop on the train to the next stop and free time.
    4. Train to final stop with more feee time.
    5. Journey back to LeSpezia and walk back to cruise terminal. You are walking through the center of town with lots of shopping and restaurants.

It was good if you are a new traveler. We travel a lot, The guide was nice, but we really could have done it on our own by purchasing an all day rail pass for less money.

Amazing trip with Davide! We saw the villages from the sea and had some stops to go swimming and snorkeling. Davide also prepared very nice snacks and food for us.

We booked an evening tour from 6 -10 pm to Portovenere and onto see some of the 5 Cinque Terre for 6 adults and 6 children. The staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly and helpful they will cater your trip for what you want to do, the boats and equipment are excellent too. We spent an hour swimming moored just off the shore of Manarola which everyone really enjoyed, then cruised at dusk with the kids under blankets back into port.
I can’t rate them highly enough, excellent value for money, you will not be disappointed if you book a trip with Hophop.

What a wonderful tour group! Everything went smoothly, and I highly recommend this specific tour group in this small size. The company itself is very reachable (easy to call and confirm info etc) and very organized. The drive was comfortable with good AC. Emma was a phenomenal tour guide and everyone loved her! The time at Cinque Terre is really personalizable. The guide will give you options on how to self explore, and it’s very easy to navigate. Make sure to bring a bathing suit so you can get into the water! (I'd recommend not choosing the lunch if you’re 1-3 people. This company does a phenomenal job setting it up and it’s a good option for big groups. But if you’re not, it’s not worth it and the waitstaff isn’t the kindest).
