- Navigate029692011242 contributionsFound this by accident while walking around Sorrento. Found it very interesting. There are “stations” where a video informs about various aspects of Sorrento and the videos we saw were in English. There isn’t a consistent timeline as you go around which is a little odd but not a show stopper. Worth a visit.Written 26 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jethro672London1 049 contributionsAn excellent private collection given to the town. The archaeological rooms were closed when I visited but very much enjoyed the mainly 19th paintings of Sorrento and Naples and wished it looked more like that now rather than the present day chaos with the traffic and tourists. Some beautiful views from the villa across the Bay of Naples. You'll spend about an hour here.Written 4 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Branko VStevenage, UK1 130 contributionsWhen you explore Sorrento you’ll discover more than one exhibit of black and photography depicting the candid lives of Italians and atmospheric scenery by the Sorrento born Raffaele Celentano
Some have a clever red highlight, a classic Fiat 500 for instance. All are inspirational and I was able to take a couple in his style (or I’d like to think so)

There are many beautiful examples, big and small, from little boxes to large items of furniture. Many are from the 19th century, often grouped in collections by the same master maker - which makes it fascinating to see the differences in style - but there is also a super modern collection in the basement which I was very pleased to see in that it shows the art form is being kept alive.
There are also paintings and the building itself is of interest, being an old palazzo - one of the ceilings, although in very poor condition, is particularly interesting.Written 26 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. So, went back the next day and purchased it. Shipping and communication was excellent throughout the process!Written 18 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The owner was very passionate about sharing his knowledge of his home town. We had a guide show us the attractions and explain certain things along the way.Written 27 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
