Cala Bianca Beach Marina di Camerota
#2 of 31 Outdoor Activities in Marina di Camerota
We took a tour around the coast & then we were dropped off at Cala Bianca Beach for a few hours, we left it a little late but you could go early in the morning & be picked up late afternoon.
They call it white sand beaches but my biggest suggestion is to wear water shoes or flip flops you don't mind getting wet- the beaches are full of stones!
Bagni della Regina Giovanna Sorrento

Mix of beautiful and special beaches in the Sorrento's coast
Amazing views, a wonderful beach bar/restaurant if you walk round the rocks ... and the actual pool is gorgeous to swim in (albeit a bit busy when we went).

This little beach accessible only by a little boat service from Scario which costs just six euros a person is a delight.
Fornillo Positano
#13 of 29 Outdoor Activities in Positano
We are from Australia with our wide open spaces of clean sandy beaches; we quickly grew to love this wonderful pebbly beach.
It is rocky, like all the beaches in Positing, so bring sandals or water shoes.

Spiaggia di Citara Forio

One of the most beautiful beaches in this island.I am sure summer will be very busy here but if you come in May it is great time to come to this beach.
I recommend as beaches are away from Marina where boats are docked.
Lido Marinella Meta

Like all beaches in August / high season are crowded so advised to go early if you want a nice spot close to waterline.
Spent the day here, clean and safe beach with lots for children to do (playarea, trampoline, volley ball) snack lunch and wine/beer really well priced.

Leonelli's Beach Sorrento

the place to swim and sunbathe, costs a lot but all the beaches are private, get there very early for a days swimming
Really, all these beaches (Peter's Beach, Salvatore's beach, Leonelli's Beach) are interconnected but you pay to visit one specific area.
Marina di Praia Beach Praiano

All Italian beaches in this region are actually tiny pebbles.

#16 of 29 Outdoor Activities in Positano
We spent 2 hours in Postiano - what a stunning place with lovely winding hilly streets and a beautiful beach- like all the beaches around this part of the coast it is rocky and pebbly, but it is beautiful!
It is big, one of the best beaches you can go for a full day of tan, amazing water, characteristic narrow pathways to get down there, and tiny black stones all the way through.

Wherever you are Cartaromana, on the beach, the whole the Eden Gardens small complex with hotel, great restaurant but expensive, beatiful thermal pools, or in the small settlement below the magnificent Michelangelo...

It is much cheaper than the main beaches of sorrento costing us 15€ for two sunbeds and umbrella on the sundeck.
Once there you will be greeted with an authentic Italian beach where you can swim in the sea or a small lagoon, sunbathe either on the beach or rock or rent a sunbed.
