I admit this is partially my fault. I tried to choose escape rooms that accommodate English speakers (partially by looking at reviews to see if there were any in English), but this one really didn't. They sure did try, though!
Host: The host was a lovely woman who took our language barrier in stride. I give her lots of credit for her patience with us and her willingness to try to make this escape room possible. Our children also enjoyed her approach.
Puzzles: The majority of the puzzles were to find combinations with very few allowing for other experiences. Everything is step-by-step, so someone can't easily work ahead. There also weren't really puzzles our kids could get into because it took a lot of adult supervision. One thing we loved - the host used music clues to help provide guidance. What an ingenious idea! We appreciated that approach.
Story: The story lacked flow and didn't seem to connect to the clues much. Although that may be due to the language barrier.
Experience: Our children were enthralled by the experience. Thank goodness! Because the adults were a but frustrated and confused. Ultimately, we were in it for our children, so their happiness made it worth going to. That said, I wouldn't recommend it for people/families who don't speak Spanish.
