stayed on doorstep of la sagrada familia. unbelievable architecture. the builders just need to get it finished now, they've been at it for far too long now.

We visited Barcelona last week and our favorite part of our walking tour of the Gathic Quarter was Maria, our energetic and knowledgeable guide. She knew just the right amount of time to spend at each location.

We were in Barcelona for three days and the Gothic Quarter was our favorite place that we visited. If you get a chance to go to Barcelona, find Maria!

While Sagrada Familia will be seen as Gaudi's dream still being fulfilled, Casa Batllo shows an extraordinary use of light, colour, architecture completed and enjoyed for over 100 years. As important to see as the church!

We attended a guitar concert with flamenco dancers. It was a most enjoyable evening. The building is an architectural delight. Ticket prices were very reasonable.

We have teenage children, so we splurged, and got the family the Players' Experience Tour, which I highly recommend. Yes, it's much more expensive, but you get better access, you get to see a lot more, and, obviously, the guided tour is fantastic. If you're already going to pay to get into the stadium and museum, the extra money for the Players' Experience seems worth it. Most specifically, if your kids care about the best pictures to post to social media, the Experience tour gets you all the way to field level, and those pictures are amazing.

I will add two side notes: First, if you're going to do the Players' Experience, you MUST get your tickets ahead of time, and understand you are getting a ticket for a specific tour at a specific time. We saw someone show up an hour late, and they were out of luck. Regardless, picking your time and buying the tickets ahead of time could not have been easier. Second, do NOT waste your money on the Robokeeper. I bought the tickets for this for both my kids, but they were ultimately unable to do it. Specifically, the gentleman in charge was not being diligent about checking tickets, and was allowing people to "buy" their shots on goal on the spot, which really screwed people who had reserved tickets.

Again, if you or your family love international soccer/futbol, and you care about FC Barcelona, the Camp Nou stadium tour is fantastic, and highly recommended. Again, I will say, I think the Players' Experience tour is the way to go.

A must see place should you ever visit Barcelona. You will find this on the La Rambla down towards the port/sea. Such colourful displays of fresh produce are to be found here. The smells [good & bad] surround you as you stroll around this purpose built indoor market.

Allow plenty of time to be amazed at all the fresh fruit and colourful displays of sweets, fish, meat, nuts and dried and fresh meats. Some sights perhaps not for the Vegan/Vegetarian - you have been warned!

Always a busy place so keep an eye on your kids & wallet.

We recommend paying extra to go to the cathedral rooftop. You have to walk up and down a tight spiral staircase, but the view is worth it.

It's not overcrowded like Gaudi's buildings, but equally worth the visit. It's a big complex consisting of a few buildings with a beautiful garden, so I would suggest visiting in the afternoon when it's not too hot outside. It's near Sagrada Familia.

A wonderful museum with art ranging from Roman to modern times. We were lucky enough to be there when the Turner exhibition was on, which is excellent.

Loved the visit to this world famous cathedral built by Gaudi and still unfinished after more than a century. Worth the visit, watch out for pick pockets in the surroundings

Great experience. The place gets packed around 9pm and the show starts at 9.30. We came at 8.30 and got great view spots. It’s free and lasts for an hour. We saw it for half an hour and it was spectacular.

This is a nice place to walk about for a while before you enjoy the magic fountain. It is also nearby the Arenas of Barcelona Mall.

A very small house to visit but it’s relaxing and would feel you could sit around the venue and take in the beautiful decoration at leisure. Staff friendly and peaceful atmosphere.
