What travellers are saying
- GangstaGrannyPlymouth, UK12 contributionsThis is a super area of Torremolinos, as it borders the marina that separates it from Benalmadena.
It has got a lovely vibe. shops and bars and eateries galore, the occasional 1 or 2 star hotel, right on the promenade, the ubiquitous chirrunguito bar/fish restaurant here and there on the beach, and here and there too are pretty wooden fishing boats, little “playgrounds” for small children, and amazing sand sculptures. Behind it runs a gorgeous paved shopping street, again with bars snd cafés and restaurants galore. Lots of interest there. I really enjoyed being in this part of Torremolinos.. and it was easily reached by bus from our hotel in Benalmàdena, too.Written 15 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Try thr walk down the steps backbto the sea front definitely something of a challengeWritten 18 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is a long and wide beach with golden sand.
The promenade that fronts it is dotted with sand sculptures with intricate details, and it is lined with shops, restaurants and cafes.
There are many beach clubs with chair and umbrella rentals, and some are beautifully landscaped.Written 30 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Only €3 each, nicely layed out with winding paths amongst the trees and flowers. Lots of shade and flowing water. The birds seem well looked after, it was a shame the Japanese garden was closed. The little Mill museum was interesting and would be nice for children to see with buttons to press for moving models. Lots of mature tropical plants you dont find in northern europe.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - William A220 contributionsSpent a very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon walking round the park and admiring the view from the tower. Well worth a visit for some peace and quiet and only about 15 minutes walk from the seafront.Written 27 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The beach is to the east of Playa El Bajondillo. It is wide and flat and has very few beachgoers. There was lots of room to spread a blanket and be by yourself.
There are beach clubs, but they are widely spaced.Written 30 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's a gay friendly business but you can go with your parents, your kids, your partner or on your own.
You can be a bear, slim, young, mature, whoever you are.
Everybody is respected there.
The service provided by the owners is amazing. We went every day in September and they ensured we had the same sun beds at the front every single day. Thank you!
Oh, by the way, the food served by La Cabrita (the restaurant attached to Paraiso Beach) is delicious and the prices very competitive.

A great talk put on by 1 of the keepers which was both entertaining and educational. It's not a huge attraction but well worth the visit.
Clean and appeared well maintained (water is mucky but that's because the animals live in murky water).Written 29 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Desislava AndreevaPortsmouth, UK40 contributionsWe made our way to the train station when we passed this area. Very busy with a lot of restaurants and small shops. I liked the narrow paths, a trace from the past. At the end a big square just next to the train station.Written 13 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
