A quit rough touch on the interior which makes it perfect for rock music. Drinks available but no food as far as I saw. - SFr1 contributionSeriously this place is just an absolute gem. It has nice beer (craft beer on tap!), nice staff and a lot of games you can play.
Fancy a round of pool/billiard? Go there.
Want to play table-football? Go there.
Rather play some boardgames? Go there.

Many bars here cater to all kinds of people on the fringes of German society. One of those is Nilles. What's to say? I could have given this dump either one or five stars, hard to say This watering hole is a living room for hardcore alcoholics in a truly authentic ambiance. Not many such places are left, neither in Saarbrucken nor Berlin, for that matter. The owner, his wife and daughter who all work behind the bar at one time or other are sweet people, the patrons are not.
