Personally not that interested in old cars but this is so much more than that. Trains, trams, old subway cars, recreations of old shops, a lovely cobbled street from the 20's (?) where you can wander into the different shops of days gone by, interactive and informative displays where you can glean information from historic news reels, great replicas of historic and more modern ships, medals and artifacts from previous wars and much more. Free to enter. Would be excellent but had to navigate the adjacent 'skate park' on exit. Youths drinking alcohol and a strong smell of cannabis.

Best atmosphere in Scotland. Some of the most passionate fans I’ve seen. A great stadium too. The Celtic fans have fantastic voices and belting songs. Really great experience. I recommend.

Near Glasgow cathedral. Well worth a visit. Grandiose tombs and monuments to the business elite of Glasgow along with the religious leaders. Shows how much money the ruling class of Glasgow had.

Lots of shops and restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. Some lovely buildings and shop fronts. I enjoyed an evening stroll when it was quieter after dinner.

Really enjoyed our visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens. We explored for an hour or so, taking in the beauty of the grounds, sniffing the herbs and feeling the different textures of plants from all over the world. Well worth a visit.

Grandad and Grandma with two grandkids.

Grandma has mobility issues and we thought she'd have to spend her visit in the cafe at the Imax. We were wrong.

Stuart, one of the staff got us a wheelchair and made it all happen. Wonderful customer service. Then, at the end of our visit, a member of staff followed us out to the car park and they took the wheelchair back.

The activities in the Science Centre were great but everyone that we encountered that were staff were phenomenal.

The university of Glasgow is a beautiful place to visit, as it is architecturally stunning.
That, of course, does not mean it's a good place to study at.

Enjoyed our experience, interesting to know the history of Tennants. Glad to say we have done it especially as we are local so good to know our own story. Lizzy was great guide, quirky, smart, funny, engaging, very knowledgable. Love her accent too :)

One of the major sights in Glasgow and important to understand the history of religious reform in Scotland. Joining a tour is helpful.

Visited specifically to see the finishing Degas exhibition, but I will be back soon to see the permanent galleries as well. The galleries are in a beautiful space, in the middle of a country park visible from many places within the building. One major disappointment (hence one star removed) was the use of language in the Degas exhibition - the curators made sure to condemn racism and antisemitism at every opportunity, yet they were happy to refer to (possible) s*x workers as prostitutes throughout. Please do your homework if you want future exhibitions to be truly reflective of 21st century values.

I spent a full day at pollok Park reacquaining myself with my favourite part of Glasgow after 40 years away. It was a lovely experience and brought back a host of happy memories. The gardens are still well laid out although the flowers are now getting past their best. Pollok House was closed for refurbishment but the grounds around it are still open to wander around. The Parterre Gardens are really nice.
i also spent some hours at the Burrell Collection which also was amazing and has so much more in it that when I last visited.
I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive the gift shop is and managed to secure a few presents to take home.
Sir William Burrell has indeed left a fine legacy for the people of this wonderful City,
The option of a shuttle bus to take you from one part of the Park to another is also a great idea, although I chose not to use it.
Oh, happy memeories. Thank you Glasgow and Pollok Park.

Loved the chocolate & whisky tour! Morven was a fabulous guide - very knowledgeable and engaging and she made the experience so much fun. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the tour to anyone who enjoys whisky, chocolate, or just a beautiful view of the Clyde! Thank you!

I've been on the tour on a few other occasions but this time topped the lot. It was made so much better by the knowledge and personal stories told by our guide John. To have someone who's family has given so much to the club showing us round was extra special. He, and his family, are an absolute credit to the club. Thanks again for an amazing day

It's a astounding that someone could conceive of such contraptions, much less execute them. They are a tour de force, and well worth the time and cost to see both shows.
