- Paula FBrisbane, Australia1 contributionI worked at FTT for a period of just over 3 years and I reached a level in my discipline which I am incredibly surprised by but very proud of. Frances took me from complete novice to a competent injector and developed my skills from a newly qualified nurse to independent nurse prescriber through close mentorship.
I have to point out that if you are passionate about your practice and want to go places, this woman will happily take you under her wing because she loves to teach and share her knowledge and she has a lot of it!
Most of the aestheticians, if not all who I knew to work at FTT, went on to start their own independent practice and due should be given to the leader who gave them the opportunities and confidence to do so.
This profession is serious and patients deserve the highest standard and as such discipline is required to provide such service so if you cannot take constructive criticism to grow then don’t waste the time of those who want to give their best. There are many learning curves and continuous learning opportunities on offer. She was there for me through the highs, the lows and I regard Frances as my work mother although she’s not old enough (nor does she look it to be).
I miss my practice at FTT very much and I am certain that I will never find a working environment like it again.
The same goes for John who also guided me in the operations of the business.

My wife was nervous as she was definitely in the beginner category but thanks to the expert coaching from Ian and Laura she came home as an improver . We stayed in the historic Villa Orsi and played tennis on the clay courts in Luca . Since then we have had at least dozen holidays in the various locations . All the holidays have been superbly organised with a high standard of accommodation . Laura is incredibly efficient with all aspects of your booking . Both Ian and Laura are fluent Italian speakers with extensive local knowledge and Italian friends . This makes a huge difference to the holidays and you are guaranteed a true Italian experience . Every bar or restaurant you visit seems to have an owner who knows them and you are greeted as valued guests .The tennis coaching is structured and personalised to a high degree. Nothing is too much trouble and little things like asking for a local bus ticket in a bar to correcting a loose backhand become easy ! The groups are small and friendly with mixed abilities and the social trips to beaches / marble waterfalls / golf courses or local restaurants are all excellent . We are looking forward to our next trip in May to the Italian open . Went for last hair removal after buying on groupon, being persuaded to pay extra - I've spent almost £200 on laser hair removal which did not work after 5 treatments. This was over a year ago so I decided to try again with laser and go to an expensive salon who tells me i had previously received IPL!!!!! Since doing my research it is correct that the machine used on me was not a laser machine. Such false advertisement I am so disappointed, what a scam. To top this off every appointment was uncomfortable in such a tacky salon and poor customer service. DO NOT GO.
