- Art O8 contributionsOur guide, Camilo, provided an excellent tour. His knowledge of the whisky industry is extensive as is his palate and experience with whisky. We had 4 tastings at 3 bars which gave us a good introduction to different whisky’s. The places that she took us on our food tour were delicious and she was very knowledgeable about the history of all of the places we visited. - Bill CTours, France140 contributionsHiring a motorhome from OpenRoad was an excellent expirience and helped us to fulfil our lifelong dream! Andy and John gave us important tips for our trip and made everything super easy for us.
In the beginning, John, gave us a very professional and thorough tour of the motorhome and he made us fill extremely comfortable and welcome. We will 100% be hiring again from OpenRoad. Hopefully very soon!!!!!

In July we had a large family event which spanned over the course of a week with many guests travelling from USA. Our plans became so much smoother and seamless with their service and attention to detail, not to mention on many occasions going way beyond what was required of them.

He really made us feel so much like fun and secured
Tried his full best to give us the wonderful memories that we could cherish and carry back home.

His knowledge and enthusiasm of Scotland is unmatched and he provided the perfect tailored experience. James took us to the most beautiful sites, best pubs and taught our family so much about finding the best whiskey. We shared so many laughs, stories and by the end of our trip we created such incredible memories and gained a friend. - Christel61 contributionsEasily planned everything online. Barry was very responsive with all the constant emails I sent. Barry was on time and helpful with all our questions. First stop was Sterling castle. Barry provided some snacks and drinks when we we were done. There was a lot of walking and things to explore in the castle. There was also a nice gift shop. We then saw Glascow Cathedral, a few murals and the statue with a cone on its head before going to lunch. We tried some traditional Scottish food. Once we were done we passed by Kelvingrove museum and then stopped at the Univeristy of Glascow. Amazing to see how advanced their production methods are and the efforts they've went to be in control of every element of spirit production. From growing, and malting their own barley, to making their own neutral grain spirit for their Gin's to maturing whiskies on site and finally to bottling on site too. For anyone interested in what it really takes to get from grain to glass, there's no other place to explore every step of the process.
