- Man_off_the_BraePoole, UK26 contributionsJeremy Sniders' shop is a treasure house of fine antiques and collectables at reasonable prices.
Ranging from silver, pottery, furniture, metalware and all sorts of unusual items.
I have been going here and buying for nearly 30 years - always something new and fantastic.
A lot of wonderful retro Scandinavian design at a fraction of London prices. I am not sure that I should have written this review as this was my secret shop.Written 20 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Proprietors Martin and his sister (My apologies for not remembering her name) were very friendly and once they understood what I was looking for were extremely helpful. Very nice selection of contemporary to antique books. Definitely one of the shops to visit when in Scotland.Written 24 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steven CHamilton, UK209 contributionsFirst time back here for a while, not quite as vibrant as it was on my last jaunt but still very quaint, old world and still interesting. A couple of nice places to eat in what could be described as studentville. Quriky second hand shops and a comic book store would satisfy the needs of any comic book enthusiast. Cobble stone walkways and if retro clothing is your thing then you won't be disappointed. Nic-nacs and trinkets, art and design. With a little imagination this could be a mini Camden and successfully so.Written 22 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ells C1 contributionTheir stock is amazing! Even if you're not big on antiques, there's something for everyone, from ornaments to jewellery and even clothes. Stopped there by chance and will definitely be back in the future!Written 2 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 1234texasSeabrook, TX5Â 262 contributionsThere are a number of photos I wanted to post that did not get in my reviews. Some of these will be duplicates, but are worth a second look.
The University, museum, and ride through the city makes for a great day. We will see more on our return trip!Written 4 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
