We came to Belfast to watch a music festival and needed to find things to do in the daytime. We chose to go to the Titanic experience and we are so glad we did. Not to over priced, we were so surprised to read lots of information on the history of Belfast itself, which we did not expect as we assumed we were going to read about the Titanic only. Belfast has a history that myself and my husband never knew about. it was a pleasant surprise to read all this information and added to the experience as a whole. When we arrived we were greated by a lovely tour guide who helped greatly in telling us how to navigate around the experience, she was very informative and friendly. There was so much to read and see, the Titanic information was fascinating and there was actual objects from the disaster on display too. It took around 3-4hrs to walk it if you read every plaque (which you should) A great day out.

Plenty here to while away a few hours particularly liked the infra red mineral etc display that shows them lit up when we normally wouldn't see it but there is something for everyone here its well laid out start at the top and work your way down is the best way to see it all will take you about 2-3 hours and it has a cafe on site.

Our visit to St. George's Market was delightful but unfortunately brief. Arriving about 30 minutes before closing, we quickly realized that our time was limited to explore everything this bustling market had to offer.

Despite our time constraint, we thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and the bustling energy of the market. The stalls were filled with a diverse array of goods, from fresh produce and artisanal crafts to mouthwatering food stalls from around the world.

One highlight of our visit was discovering the stall selling poffertjes, a Dutch delicacy akin to miniature pancakes. These delectable treats were piping hot and topped with a generous dusting of powdered sugar, caramel and Nutella making for a deliciously indulgent snack that we couldn't resist.

While we were unable to fully explore all the stalls at the market, we appreciated the brief glimpse into the lively and eclectic mix of vendors. The atmosphere was infectious, and we left feeling satisfied with our experience.

This is situated next to Ulster Museum and is free to enter. It was a nice visit and worth doing if you’re in the area. The Belfast University next door is beautiful and worth taking a photo of.

Our visit to HMS Caroline in Belfast was an fun journey into naval history. As the last surviving ship from the Battle of Jutland in World War I, HMS Caroline holds a special place in maritime heritage in the UK.

The ship's well-preserved interiors, including the mess decks, engine rooms, and captain's quarters, provided a fascinating glimpse into life at sea during the early 20th century.

Learning about HMS Caroline's illustrious history, including its pivotal role in the Battle of Jutland, was both educational and deeply moving. The interactive exhibits and informative displays brought to life the bravery and sacrifice of the sailors who served aboard this remarkable ship.

One of the highlights of our visit was exploring the various decks and compartments, from the gun turrets to the sick bay, and imagining the bustling activity that once filled the vessel during wartime.

As we wandered through the corridors and listened to the stories of HMS Caroline's crew, we gained a newfound appreciation for the courage and resilience of those who served in the Royal Navy.

First time back at the GOH since the renovations. Still as charming as ever. Came to see the Mousetrap. Brilliant show. Had a drink in the new lobby area . Really enjoyed the whole experience and looking forward to returning. A real gem.

Our visit to the SS Nomadic in Belfast was a good quick experience. This historic vessel, known as the Titanic's Little Sister, provided us with a unique opportunity to step back in time and explore a piece of maritime history.

Learning about the SS Nomadic's role as a tender ship for the White Star Line, including its service during both World Wars, offered valuable insights into its significance in maritime history. Exploring the various decks and compartments allowed us to envision the bustling activity that once filled the ship during its heyday.

This was a wonderful experience in the most impressive beautiful building. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our tour guide Sarah was such a knowledgable and entertaining host. This tour lasted about an hour and a half. It was totally free. It was a wonderful tour.

This are has a completely different fell to the rest of the city.

Smart bars and eateries are scattered around the cobbled streets giving it a more exclusive feel.

The umbrellas by The Duke of York are a bit of an attraction, especially when lit in neon at night.

We particularly enjoyed The Dark Horse. Delicious Irish stew and wheaten bread, sumptuous surroundings, friendly staff and, hubby said, an excellent Guinness.

Their home brewed Belfast Blossom was an absolute treat.

Well worth an amble around to soak up the atmosphere.
