What travellers are saying
- Joey PLondon, UK3 contributionsI was a little nervous about open water swimming but Becky put me at ease straight away, providing lots of useful tips to adjust to the cold. The lake was beautiful and overall it was a really enjoyable experience and if I lived locally I would be a regular customer. Would highly recommend!Written 23 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- bond334Hampshire, UK4 contributionsAnother epic walk with Tom, my third!!. This time in the Autumn to experience the park in a different season. The weather didn't dampen things at all, beautiful forest and fauna all around Lake Elsi. We made good time and added in the Miner's Bridge. The park and Walk Snowdonia continues to deliver. I'll be back in the Spring!Written 13 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- James Wright4 contributionsMyself and two friends had an excellent experience with Mountain Movement UK. Our guide Harry took us on a 2 day guided hike starting and finishing at Rhyd Ddu in Snowdonia.
Day 1 started by hiking up the Rhyd Ddu path before heading to the base of Yr Aran. We took our time and Harry frequently stopped to explain his navigation processes and to point out local landmarks. Harry's knowledge of the local area was impressive and this encouraged the group to ask questions. Once we arrived at the base of Yr Aran we decided to climb to the summit and then return to the base. This wasn't planned and was a great way to finish the day.
On day 2, we hiked to the top of Yr Wyddfa which is always pleasant. We then took the Ranger path to return to Rhyd Ddu.
I highly recommend Mountain Movement UK to anyone who is looking for a guided hike with an experienced guide!Written 23 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
