So much history. The Beefeater tour was fabulous. The Crown Jewels were jaw dropping and the fact that you are standing by a 1000 year old fortress is mind blowing. Loved it all.

Interesting visit, and museum within museum, but thought you would be able to visit more of the tunnels / working areas. Took just under 2 hours.

This is a must when you visit London. There is so much history to see. I was a little overwhelmed because of all the information so we took a break of 30 min after our first 2 hours in the church and then we resume the visit. The audio guide is all you need. Is very detailed. Videos are not allowed suiting your visit at least when we went. Pictures yes.
If you get overwhelmed there is a nice area where the bathrooms are that you can take a little break and then continue.
In general this was absolutely beautiful! I am planning of taking my kids to this amazing place next year. I strongly believe that everyone that visit London must visit this amazing place. I highly recommend this historic place.

I went on a free pre-booked guided tour of the houses of parliament booked through my local MPs office. Absolutely great, highly recommended. Nick was a very good guide, and although I usually like wandering solo, his direction was invaluable.

Came to London on a mystery tour weekend. Got 6 hours to look around, not been here for years so took a walk to the palace. A lot of people around but didn't stop me seeing all I wanted. Well worth going to take back some memories in photos

I went because I heard good things about it from friends and since it was included in the London pass, I decided to give it a go.

The first part was a well thought out glimpse into the history of the bridge from Roman to Victorian times. Though the sets are a bit worse for wear, it was fun and the actors did their best to bring their characters to life. Especially the barman at the end was really engaging and I would have stayed and listened to him a bit longer.

Afterwards the scary part of the experience begins, within a haunted house style walking attraction. As there are several real people in there to frighten you, expect a number of jump scares. You walk through different classic horror themed areas which give off a bit of a ghost train vibe adding to the experience. Some scares are really unexpected and if you go there with younger children you might want to opt for their guardian angel option.

All in all a fun, scary experience.

We had a fantastic tour with our guide Llyr. He was extremely knowledgeable and engaging and we learned so much about not just the Globe but about theatre in Shakespeare’s time.

Visited the Cutty Sark yesterday, taking our grandson to Toddler Time. A nice friendly lady showed the children some aspects of the ship and what the crew would have eaten and then finished off by reading them a story, After Toddler time we had the opportunity to fully tour the ship which seems to be much bigger on the inside than how it appears from the outside. Toddlers were free and the accompanying adults were only charged £5 which made it excellent value.

It’s one of those places that you have visit, but don’t expect a lot. It’s a walk through, rather than a destination. Some interesting shops.

Informative and enjoyable tour. Views of London were spectacular. Straddling the Prime Meridian, with one foot in either hemisphere was pretty cool. A little work involved in getting there by train and walking, but nevertheless a must see for anyone visiting London.

We visited the monument with our 5 year old daughter. It was £15 for the 3 of us which I thought was expensive. We walked over 300 steps to the top. It was surprisingly easy going however got narrower towards the top and you had to squeeze in if someone was going the other way. No good for people afraid of height or confined spaces. The views for the top as amazing. You can see for miles. When you get back to the bottom of the monument you get a certificate to say you've been up to the top.

Crowded but worth a visit. We were there the first week of September and there were only two horses. This is typical when the RF removes to Balmoral during the summer and the horses to Hampton Court for refresher training and relaxation. This is not listed on their website, and there were many, many complaints from other tourists that their trip was ruined because they just wanted to see the horses. Ungrateful. A few minutes on the official Royal Mews website details just what is on display and what you can expect. I was absolutely enthralled by the magnificence and opulence of the coaches. It was a spectacular privilege to be able to see them in person and I think a visit is definitely worth the time.

    PROS
    * Famous street for its association with the Beatles
    * Pleasant and scenic

    CONS
    * Regular traffic with people always going on the famous zebra crossing

    "I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
... for a second time when I came to this place again, to honor the Beatles, to relive the place and the era, and to cross that street there... again, and to be photographed doing it

    WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
    It's free

WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN?
I have gone out of my way twice on two different trips to do that; I would go back if I found myself in St. Johns Wood while going from somewhere to somewhere else

    ADVICE
If you are a Beatles fan, then you know that you have to go here, but watch out fo the traffic on the street.
