What travellers are saying
- ClaireLondon, UK13 contributionsThis trip was the highlight of our week. We went out at 5 p.m. so were coming back at sunset and the whole experience was amazing. Tom was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The scenery was beautiful. I can't recommend this trip highly enough! Will definitely go againWritten 7 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dinesh LCoimbatore, India38 contributionsWonderful cruise and a must try during Falmouth visit for anyone. Alex and team are very energetic and always ready to help. The captain made sure the team can view the Dolphins through the cameras built into the boat as well. Very memorable moment of our lifetime seeing 30 to 40 dolphins swimming off the coast.Written 16 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Neill BSouth Ockendon, UK238 contributionsWe cannot guarantee you will see anything said Frazer our guide
An hour in the experience of just being at sea, seeing the view from a unique angle back to land, seeing everywhere we go was simply amazing... then...
Some porpoises popping there noses above the waves in the distance, and out of the blue an enormous Tuna lept above the surface.
We would have been over the moon at that, and simply accepted what we had experienced.
Boy we're we treated with firstly one pod of dolphins, then two, about 15 in total, all over the place, alongside the the boat, under the boat, chasing the boat, simply mind blowing.
What a trip, if you are pondering, yes it's a gamble, but do it, the best thing I have aver done, to see the face of my daughter Lucy whom we bought this for her birthday will live with me for ever.
Thank you Frazer, thank you team.
Mind blowing.Written 17 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Michael D2 contributionsI am very grateful to Ben from Sea Kayaking Cornwall for accompanying me in his kayak as I did a 7 mile swim around the Roseland Peninsula last week.
Ben was extremely considerate throughout. He scoped out a start point at St Just in Roseland the day before, and then made a horribly early start to help me get to St Just to start the swim just after 6 am.
During the swim, Ben struck a perfect balance between being present for me, while giving me enough space to find a good pace and rhythm in my swimming. He also took photos, including the one I have posted here.
One of the aims of the swim was to raise money for two charities - Surfers Against Sewage and Mississippi Center for Justice. I wouldn't have attempted it without a professional kayaker who knew the conditions accompanying me. With Ben playing that role I've been able to raise around £4700 for SAS and MCJ.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I arranged a trip with nigel for last Saturday, we had an absolute cracker of a day the weather conditions was stunning the crew was beyond helpful, kind and full of knowledge they shared.
I've been on a fair amount of fishing charters but I can very comfortably say this is by far the best experience we have had all the lads aggred and it just made the day so much better that we caught!!
Nigel himself was on the ball and actually was enthusiastic to try his upmost best for us lads to catch!, the boat is a catamaran style so very sturdy comfortable and plenty of room!
Massive thankyou again to nigel, John and I am sorry but I forgot the last guy but you all was amazing and we are already in talks on booking for October! Bring on round 2Written 21 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As their price was competitive and the cruises matched what we were looking forward we booked. Their kiosk was ease to find situated at the road end of the Prince of Wales pier and the final part of the booking was quick and easy.
Our boat for the trip, the M.V. Princessa was easy to access via the pier steps (not sure on any disable options) and was a good size as being able to take 90 passengers (although that would be a full boat!).
Throughout our trip the skipper gave a running commentary of the sights as we passed out of Falmouth harbour and into the bay. The transit to the mouth of the Helford River was around 30-minutes but the scenery helped pass the time.
We slowly made our way up the Helford River passing Durgan and Helford Passage before making our turn by the National Trust Powder's property at the mouth of Frenchman's Creek. Just how far you can go depends on the tides and we were lucky to have Spring High Tide and could get a fair way up.
The return trip was interested including seeing a seal on a buoy and Roger Taylor's house! We also stuck closer to the coast on the way back and were told all about the various beaches along the coast.
There is a licenced bar on the boat so light snacks and drinks are available pretty much throughout the trip.
Overall this is good value for money and a very pleasant way to spend a few hours; recommended.Written 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Safety briefing was concise and to the point. Our guide also tried to help plan a route for us that would work given the tide times and what we wanted to see / visit.
We spent a little over 5 hours on the water (strong headwinds and big waves caused the little boat to struggle to keep up the pace) but even though we were late, John was very understanding and didn’t charge us any extra.
10/10 would recommend.Written 30 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My 8 year old said it was the best day of his life as he was drifting off to sleep. Thank you so much for the energy and fantastic day you gave them both. I would definitely recommend booking elemental to look after your children either as part of a kids club or like us hosting a private party.Written 23 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rachael k26 contributionsWhat a special day touring the creeks and rivers around Mylor and up to Truro in our little Cornish fishing boat. So special sailing up to The Heron mooring up and having a beer - in the sun - just loved it !Written 6 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - skifansSt Agnes, UK77 contributionsTook kids ages 8 - 21 and all thoroughly enjoyed their time on the inflatable park. Only a couple of gripes - the road into the area was poor - full of potholes and the cafe was none existent- just a coffee machine that did not work! Otherwise it was great fun and very scenic. Would recommend you take a picnic as some very nice views to watch all the fun.Written 21 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jane W3 contributionsWe did this last year and loved it so returned this year to do it again. We had a great time again. Harry was an excellent guide, very welcoming and friendly, he took us in and out of caves and told us lots of interesting facts about the marine wildlife. The coasteering was great fun and we felt in very safe hands with Harry. I can totally recommend this company and this trip as a fantastic family experience. Beautiful scenery too.Written 30 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- tim s1 contributionWhat a great setup they have at the Cornish Dive Centre. Led by the unflappable and incredibly patient instructor, Cruz; he and his team of Dive Masters and assistants provide a fantastic learning and diving environment for all levels of diver experience. My two teenage boys and I have had a great week and are all now fully qualified Open Water divers.
Thoroughly recommend this centre to anyone thinking about getting back into diving; continuing their journey or just starting out. Absolutely faultless!
We’ll be back next year for more Cornish coast dives.

We were lucky to have some outstanding weather and headed over to the Helford River before enjoying some swimming and paddle boarding anchoring off Nansidwell beach. We finished off with some bubbly and a blast out past St Anthony lighthouse. We’d highly recommend a trip out for anyone wanting to experience the Falmouth Bay area.Written 22 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
