Cape of Storms is a family run small batch rum distillery in Cape Town. The tour and tasting are highly entertaining and very informative. The three rums currently in production are really tasty. The owners explained their philosophy for making the rum which is to use the purest ingredients with no additives whatsoever. The passion for their products certainly shines through! We can highly recommend a visit.

Annika was such a sweet and incredible host! I had the privilege of being the first guest that cooked with her and the experience was so memorable. I especially enjoyed her teaching style— no sitting around here, she put me straight to work (which I loved)! Annika would demonstrate a technique and then let me do it; the hands on approach made it all more immersive. I was very impressed and delighted that Annika and I prepared all the dishes I requested such as boboti, cape Malay chicken curry and even Malva pudding. I made roti from scratch for the first time, which I am definitely excited to bring into my daily life. Annika was encouraging throughout the process, always stopping to show me again as needed and never making me feel rushed. She also taught me a lot about Cape Town history and politics, showing me a side that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise. If I had another week in Cape Town, I would absolutely go back and learn more dishes from her. I highly recommend her and being around her amiable presence. Thank you, Annika!

This wine tour was so much fun and Robby was so knowledgeable about the wine! I would definitely recommend and do again.

We had the pleasure of doing two trips with Tatenda as guide.
The first one was from our hotel in Cape Town to Cape Point and The Cape of Good Hope. The walk up to Cape Point is well worth the effort to see the huge steep cliffs. On that trip we saw the penguins at Boulders Rock and the fantastic Chapmans Peak Drive.
The second trip was a full daytrip which included visits to the vineyards at Groot Constantia and Little Eagle, a visit to the botanical gardens at Kirstenbosch.
The last visit of the day was a get past the queues ticket to Table Mountain where we had a wonderful time looking at the views and just managed to get down as the rain closed in.
Tatenda was /is a wonderful and attentive guide, who was always there but never in the way.
I can really recommend this visit.

I absolutely loved the District Six tour. I learnt so much about the rich and dark history of district 6, loved the coffee tasting at Truth, the beautiful street art and the yummy cupcakes at Charly's Bakery! Nothing beats a walking tour where you get to feel the heartbeat of a place and meet its people. A very special experience that will be enjoyed by international travelers and local explorers alike.

It was an amazing evening, having the real South African experience with a family and Jason. He always took care of me and I felt safe all the time.
I’ve learned so much from this night and would recommend to everybody.
Thank you Jason and the Family!
