The lighhthouse is right on the edge of the shingle beach and has picnic areas and toilets next to the car park. What a lovely surprise to find this little ancient wonder - basically in the middle of a field with very little fanfare and absolutely no publicity! It certainly doesn’t appear in any tourist brochures of the area. Would be great to have a bit more information on this - the sign at the entrance was pretty brief.
