What travellers are saying
- FullonFoodLoveLancaster, PA31 contributionsI was hesitant to visit given the recent reviews. Now that I have gone anyway, I would disregard the negativity. I was visiting nearby, and I wanted to visit a winery locally (Israeli wineries have come such a long way in the past decade). I needed a place where the staff could speak English well enough to make useful recommendations and where I didn't need a reservation (as I didn't know what time I'd be dropping by).
I absolutely loved my visit. The staff was super friendly and spoke excellent English. The wine selections were great. The cheese pairings were truly wonderful, especially when paired with wines overlooking the malbec grapes (malbec happens to be my favorite varietal). I thoroughly enjoyed my leisurely, scenic tasting. I highly recommend stopping in to this lovely property right next to the forest of the Martyrs not far from Jerusalem.Written 5 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were a family of two grandparents and two young adults and we all enjoyed. There was a brief introduction to the winery and vineyards. Then we tasted 4 wines and ate bread and cheese. Altogether it lasted about 1.5 hours. The guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions fully. The staff was kind and hospitable. Would highly recommend as a half-day excursion from Jerusalem!Written 4 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cesar PabloOrange County, CA465 contributionsThe wine was pretty decent, one of their blends was great, but the location isn't really nice, it's also hard to find.
I was here with a group of people and the lady giving the tasting and explanation was super nice and professional, the tasting room is small but cute, but the outside could be improved, come on Israel has great weather year round how about a nice garden and patio seating.Written 12 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Giora_I_LHaifa, Israel6Â 267 contributionsVisited for morning wine tasting with my work colleagues. We were welcome with cake and herb tea in the shaded balcony overlooking the small vineyard in the valley. The tasting is accompanied by wonderful assorted cheese, olives and fresh bread. They have only several blends of which the blanc de noirs was the most impressive. We also took a look at the cellar (reuse of a shelter). The owners have an amazing life story to tell. I hope you will be lucky to hear it.Written 23 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
