Either way the power of the sea is a stunning sight, best experienced in windy weather when the waves are at their best... but be careful if you do so though... this is nature at its rawest and deserves respect.
The walk affords plenty of opportunities for refreshment stops, the boating lake cafe serves a good breakfast, and of course the National Trust park has a cafe.
