Beautiful Boardwalk! With a fantastic view. You can take a short walk the length of the mall or a long walk from the library all the way down. You can even walk over to whitefish island. Highly recommend you check it out! Great photos + selfies to be taken! Very beautiful views of the river.

Awesome place! I'm into the history of engineering, so I was ecstatic to be able to read all the informational plaques along the self-guided tour about the locks. It was also fun to watch how the locks operate and how vessels pass through.

The views of the old emergency bridges are so photogenic; we took a hundred pictures. And the trails on the White Fish Island are worth your time. It's an unusual combination of the engineering feat, nature and industrial landscape in the background.

We were coming to Sault Ste Marie for the Agawa Canyon Train Ride, but we enjoyed the locks much more, especially the freedom of walking and enjoying it all at your own pace.

The road to the park was a little rough but once we got there the trail(s) were well marked. Unfortunately, the stairs to the lookout to Crystal Falls was closed for repairs but we had a nice view of it from the lower platform. We walked further to see Minnehaha Falls which was nice. The trail was not busy at all - so quiet! We could see that this place would be busy during the summer and on weekends .... Glad we were there in early September!

Don’t go by the address on Tripadvisor. There are falls there but it’s a STEEP hill. Go down the road to Kinsmen Park. There are falls both directions from the parking lot. Crystal falls is to the North. There is another set at the dam, on the South end of the lake(not your typical dam falls). Also a set of rapids and smaller falls further South, in a deep ravine.

Watch the short film before entering the museum to get a very helpful context. Interesting and highly instructive. Learning about the Soo historically makes a visit to the area more meaningful.

We were wowed by the variety of vendors from delicious food to eat there to meats fresh, smoked or canned, preserves of every description, sweets, breads, giftware of all descriptions, clothing from head to foot. I was interested in getting some alpaca wool I wanted for a project and found a lovely selection and you could buy finished articles as well. We also bought some fabulous vegetables at reasonable prices. We’ll be back

We had such a lovely time at this museum. The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald display, the birch bark replica of a home from the local First Nation, a military display and so much more! I have been fortunate enough to travel to other museums in the world. I couldn’t believe how clean this one was! Cute gift shop also with rocks from the area.

Farmer Bob has been a Sault Ste. Marie icon for many decades. He is deservingly slowing down these days and doesn’t offer as many attractions but he still welcomes everyone to his homestead for a donation at the gate. Bring some quarters so you can feed the goats!

Melissa was so friendly and helpful. She helped with hotel and ferry reservations. She gave me information about museums and galleries. She gave me maps and was just generally very pleasant and helpful. My time in Ontario was wonderful.

It is small beach, rocky and sandy. It is about 20 mins from Sault Saint Marie. This park has a provincial park setup. I've been in some provincial parks that their facilities aren't good at all, I think this park has good facilities (washrooms are clean). An good choice if you don't want to drive to Pancake Provincial park.
