Highly suggested to anyone who wants to see Aurora! Julian and the whole team are very responsive and experts to find/chase the Aurora. Plus they help you take professional Aurora pictures!

Our guide Joe was efficient, authentic, knowledgeable, fun, and multilingual. We really appreciated the diverse experience: astronomy, weather patterns, cultural significance of Auroras, local info. He was intent on giving everyone on the tour the best experience.

Our trip was epic! The night tours were cool and the tour guide was great about taking us to different spots so we could see the auroras. Highly recommend doing the full package. One bit of advice, rent the snow clothes they have for rent. We brought our own which took up a lot of room in our suitcase and had to wear two jackets etc. Their jackets are really warm with big hood I wish I had.

We had a very cool and joyful trip with Yellowknife Tours, which left us in awe with their unique experiences. The highlight was the aurora night—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the beautiful aurora dance in the sky.

A special thanks to Verda, Angus, and Saxon for their professional service throughout the tour, and for supporting my engagement proposal to my fiancée, Annie. This made the moment even more magical, reminding us that it happened under the great northern lights. We couldn't be happier.

Excellent tour experience ! The lodge is luxury and cozy. We stayed warm and enjoyed some hot tea while waiting for the aurora. The tour guide Mo is a professional photographer. He took some amazing photos for me with the aurora. Highly recommend this aurora tour!

Jimmy was great! Saw a little bit of Aurora but unfortunately was too cloudy. Still had a fun time. Be prepared for a random guy (not Jimmy) going around asking for a $10 per person mandatory tip.

Very beautiful view! We went on sunny day, the walk was nice and moderate.
Our guide is really great, and shared lots of info on the local area and the nature.

Cameron falls are nice, but I would like to talk more about the guides.

The guides are young snd full of energy. Super efficient. I cannot imagine they would send the pictures to guests right after the Aurora tour, which ends at 02:00... God, they need some sleep first! I highly recommend this company and their service is do much warm and friendly. They show spirit of HK people.

Our family of 3 booked a 4 day/3 night package with Jiguang Tour. They were fantastic and very well organized. We got exceptional service from their team (big shout out to Wendy and Jimmy). We were travelling with our 78 year old mom and their team really looked after her so well. Jimmy and Wendy also took lots of photos for everyone and uploaded it free of charge. We got tons of photos ... such precious memories :)

Here's more details about our trip...

Day 1 - prompt pickup from airport to the Explorer Hotel; our winter rental gear was provided to us upon arrival (very clean and well maintained parka, snow pants, boots and mittens)
Night 1 - 9:30 pm - 1:30 am aurora viewing. They picked us up from the hotel to their campsite. Fantastic facility with a warm indoor cabin space where there's a proper washroom and kitchen space with hot drinks and snacks available. As well, there's a heated glass teepee with a wood stove. There's lots of areas on the campsite to explore and take photos. Only 17 people on our tour and there was lots of space to enjoy the aurora viewing quietly and privately. That night, we got to see the aurora from the campsite but Jimmy (the owner) said that he wanted us to see more so he decided to get us on the bus and headed to the ice road to see more and take more photos. It was great to change the scenery.
Day 2 - we picked the city tour option. Owen, their tour guide, came to pick us up from the hotel. We got to see the number of interesting locations in Yellowknife, including the Snowking Festival. This city tour was fantastic.
Night 2 - 9:30 pm - 1:30 am aurora viewing. This night we stayed the entire time at the campsite. The aurora viewing was fantastic. Lots of strong lights ... dancing through the sky. AMAZING!!!
Day 3 - we picked the dog sled tour option. Beck's kennel came to pick us up. Wow ... what a fun experience.
Night 3 - 9:30 pm - 1:30 am aurora viewing. To change things up, Wendy took us aurora hunting by bus. We stopped at 4 locations. It was INCREDIBLE!!! The northern lights lit up the sky and was dancing for hours around us. We were super lucky!!!
Day 4 - time to leave; Jiguang picked us up from the hotel and transferred us to the airport. Fantastic service!

Kevin was fantastic! We booked the tours for 2 days, he adjusted different places in order to see aurora clearly. He has a private island, so we could access there by boat to experience amazing memories. We do recommend his tour than others!
