- FITxxxRiffa, Bahrain467 contributionsFor those that live in Riffa and surrounding area, Emna Mall is the place to go for shopping, sports activities, eating and wondering around. This time we chosen le chocolate for dinner and succeeded because the food and desserts were delicious except for the green salads is was very salty! Staff are always friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent and with smiling face hence we highly recommend the pace and surely we will visit them again shortly.Written 6 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NavazKRBahrain104 contributionsI can’t believe that I have not written a review for one of my most favorites places in Bahrain… cant believe I missed doing so all this time…. the Riffa fort….
It is a quiet little place tucked away close to the bustle of the Riffa soukh…Depending on which route you take to reach it, Riffa fort suddenly lends to a calm and serene environment after you have driven through the crazy busy traffic of the Riffa Market.
You can walk through the fort and feel the historic past of those who would have resided there. It has a small but beautiful museum that you can enjoy.
It also holds a café where they serve traditional breakfast during the mornings and then tea and snacks during the day. The café closes at around 1700hrs. They have seating on a glass faced veranda that provides a beautiful view of the Hunayniyah Valley and at the sky line you can see all the way to Manama. Though the café closes post sunset you can go for a stroll to the fort and enjoy the view at night too.
Winters are the best time to sit and enjoy some beautiful calm moments with gorgeous views and yum treats and summer evenings are not that bad either.
A must try for all those who have a fresh air fetish.Written 4 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - SaudKhawaja58Riffa, Bahrain12 contributionsSpend few weekends with a Danish Archeology team visiting to recover burial mounds in Bahrain. Amazing insight how cheftains mounds were built like a modern day spacous apartment, but below earth for their burials. Nearby authentic Bahraini restaurant for breakfast is recommended.Written 13 September 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- muddyoldengrEngland262 contributionsPassing through Bahrain and an old pal arranged a round at this oasis.
Clubhouse and course was everything you'd expect and the prices reflected it. Club hire is available. Green Fee was BD 55 ie (GBP 110) and club hire another BD25.
Covid constraints meant that lockers/showers etc were unavailable which is never good in the heat of the ME, and refreshments were limited to the coffee shop; that said it was good to get out amidst covid constraints.
The course is definitely a challenge. Narrow fairways, and undulating greens with plenty (too much?) shape. Greens seemed slow (furry) but the ball often continued to roll, and also received the ball well. If you've played in Oman think Ras Al Hamra meets Al Mouj! as it has the championship difficulty set amongst the wadi's and oil field production pipelines/nodding donkeys etc.Written 18 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Tala1 contributionOne of my favourite little hidden gems in Rifaa !
