Xcaret is one of the absolute best options in Cozumel, especially if you are either short on time or you have 3 days!

Javier (Guide) and Luis (Shuttle Driver) from Xcaret were extremely professional, knowledgeable humorous, and took great personal care to ensure our safety and security throughout the experience.

We were passengers on the carnival dream ship that docked on 11 August 2022.

As a result of the fantastic service and the fantastic facility, we have already recommended Xcaret to our friends, family, and followers on social media.

I do not think everyone who signs up understands how many different attractions, educational opportunities, and flat out fun things there are to do within the park.

10 out of 10, five stars, I would definitely recommend to my friends or family who are considering a trip, to go to Cozumel, and to spend at least a day or more at the park.

Even if you only have 4 hours on a excursion it is well worth it because of how organized the park is, and how helpful the guides like Javier are to the entire operation going smoothly.

To truly experience all of the activities such as the aviary, all of the historical and cultural pieces, as well as all of the great fun water activities, obstacle course type things, as well as the delicious and robust food offering you could spend 3 days there easily at any one of the three beautiful hotels right on the property.

Again tremendous thanks to Javier as well as Luis for making a good time into an incredibly pleasant and safe great time!

We chose this as our shore excursion for our day in Cozumel, we were on a cruise. The description of this tour sounded AH-MAZING, and it was beautiful!

They provided us with wetsuits, life vests, water shoes and Leo, the most patient, best guide!!!

We traveled with me, my husband, and our 9 year old son (and then a family of 5 was in our tour group too).

There was a short walk to the caves, and then the decent. I was a smidge worried because I am not too hip with small enclosed spaces, but there was no point in the tour that I felt was 'too small', it was a all fairly expansive.

The underground was beautiful, and our guide took time to explain everything we were seeing. After 1.5 hours exploring we went back to day light and had lunch.

I cannot emphasize how great this tour is, their guides, and ALL the staff. Special shout out to Leo and Angel. Thank you all for the memorable adventure.

You must experience this at least once. We were able to complete all activities (wet and dry) in about 3 hours. We did not chill in hammocks or eat lunch. We tried everything. The best attraction, by far, was the TOWN - so many laughs!

If it's your first time, purchase the photo package - you won't be disappointed - picture quality and ease of use!

The only con would be transportation. I would NOT pay for transportation through them. Instead, I would get a taxi (~$15 USD - one way). This ensures you get to the park when you want and leave when you're ready.

Quinta Avenida or 5th Ave in Playa del Carmen
is a must visit shopping, restaurant and entertainment hub.
It's fun, very hot so bring water, and wear walking shoes, not flip flops.
    Enjoy!

WOW! We had the BEST time here! The photos are so great! We had the entire place to ourselves and our guide was wonderful. She showed us the photos after she took them and made sure we got all the photos we wanted before we ended the experience. Definitely recommend!

We discovered Kool Beach after our hotel gave us vouchers which enabled us to have a discount there.

The whole place looks really tired and could do with an overhaul. But it more than makes up for that with really good service (thanks William, Jorge, Usemeldy and team), a nice selection of foods and a beautiful beach. It's not limited to holiday makers so there's selection of ages of people who I assume are from Mexico enjoying the facilities as well tourists like myself.

The cocktails weren't great, they tasted watered down. Stick to the beers and you'll be OK. The women's toilets were kept clean and appear to be well maintained.

My husband and I went there several times during our stay in Playa del Carmen and we'd recommend Kool Beach Club for anyone who's looking to escape the crowded beaches and is happy to lounge on a spacious terrace close to food and drink.

Experience was okay, the boat ride. Now like the airlines they charge different fees so based price is around $11 but they sell you first class $ 14 basically you don't wait so long in line, you go in the express line and some areas on the boat are reserved for First class. Personal is not friendly, the cashier push you to buy a package with her friend that offers discounts for Cozumel.
I got screwed buying a package to PLAYA UVAS a awful place in Cozumel, they swear by give you the best price and discounts.

TIP DO NOT SPEAK WITH THE PROMOTERS AND JUST BUY YOUR Ticket for the ferry, do not take discounts and just wait until you go to Cozumel and decide what do you want to do

Swim and snorkel in the open air cenote and the cave cenote. The staff were helpful and the prices are reasonable considering you can swim in both cenotes. They charge $20 if you use US dollars, but the rate is much better is you use Mexican Currency ($350 Pesos). Enjoy!

Had a great 10 days staying along Riviera Maya in 2022, but all the beaches were swamped with Seaweed, mountains and mountains of it, which basically made the sea unappealing. Not a huge amount to do here other that laze by the hotel pool and eat and drink, perfect for a relaxing holiday though.

We always go to mass on Sundays when we’re traveling, and we came to this small church, we missed mass but they do have service call mom they had the exposed blessed body all day, which was nice, and the priest was able to confess all five of us . highly recommended

First time here and even the taxi driver asked how did you hear about this place? Beautiful beach with a tropical setting. One open bar if you want drinks and don’t mind the floor of beach sand. From my perspective people who live in Playa del Carmen know this beach but most tourists like me don’t. Found it from good reviews. Would definitely go back.

We did the Dolphin push/ride adventure. It’s the most expensive, but enjoyed a lot. Got to get pushed up out of the water by 2 dolphins, loads of pets, splashes, swam with the “big papa” dolphins and a “dance”. The excursion itself wasn’t too bad; about $90 a person. The photos were crazy expensive. It was $190 for photos, and we obviously couldn’t bring our own GoPro or camera. We didn’t buy pictures and they didn’t want to negotiate at all. And they were only digital, if you wanted 3 prints it was $50 more. It obviously doesn’t cost them $190 to email me pictures. I could have gotten *some* pictures emailed for cheaper. But that obviously isn’t any cheaper for them to send some rather than all of the pictures.

The most Amazing thing we did on our holiday. We were so lucky since we went early morning 8am both of myself and my wife had the whole pool to ourselves with interactions with 6 dolphins. Usually I believe 2-3 dolphins for 6-8 people.

We did the foot push which was amazing and all the ticks. Money paid for this is well worth it and one of the highlights in our entire life and a big tick off the bucket list.

However was very shocked to hear about the prices for out pictures and videos. $250 we were told and we were really shocked! This is most expensive picture package we have ever had to pay in out entire life travelling the world! So be prepared for that since your not allowed cameras or phoned inside.

We had no choice but had to buy it i would have give. 3 starts but since we had the most amazing time with the dolphins I have still given 5 stars but be ware of they trying to ups kill extra time, phot package.
