We took the Scenic Full Day Antigua tour offered on Travelocity. Our guide was Leo and he did a fantastic job of describing the history, landmarks, culture and people of this wonderful island.
Our favorite place was English Harbour. There were three high tech rowboats who had just arrived from the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa!! We also enjoyed the stunning views from Shirley Heights and Dow's Hill, driving through St. John's, the rain forest and having lunch at Mama's Delight.
Thank you Leo for your wonderful tour!! Next time we come to Antigua, I hope we stop at St. Bartholomew's church which dates from the 1600's. (One of the oldest churches in the western hemisphere). Until our next trip!!!
Excellent tour guide. Bernie and his crew took us to a ship wreck off English Harbor! We saw green turtles Spitted Ray and all kinds of reef fish as we trove with our power snorkeling equipment heading to and from the pillars of Hercules!!
It was a wonderful experience, our guide/driver was courteous, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about not only the history and culture of the island, but also filled us in on details of numerous native plants and animals. Pointing them out and even making extra stops so we could see things like mango trees, papaya trees, turpentine and mahogany and many more. The places we visited were excellent and the views were absolutely stunning. Don’t hesitate to book.
Johnny was they best tour guide. He helped with all the sights and snorkeling. Johnny was super accommodating and funny. He has all the equipment and even had cold water to drink after snorkeling. Johnny made sure we snorkeled at our own pace. He is full of local knowledge and passion. He was able to take amazing group pictures and even ensured we saw some sea turtles. Make sure to book this excursion. We loved it!
The sunset was amazing and beautiful. The drinks were strong, and the food was good. The band was great. Our driver Andrew was amazing. We were able to make the party right after arrival.
An excellent day trip and a great way to see the main sites in Antigua. Our guide Rob was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative and arrived promptly at our hotel to pick us up. The tour lasted about 6 hours and included a great lunch at Shirley’s Heights and there were plenty of beverages available throughout the day, including a delicious rum punch. Due to the weather forecast we decided to bring forward our trip by a day and this was easily rearranged. It was lo lovely to have the opportunity to see all parts of the island and we would highly recommend it to other visitors. Thank you Rob for making it a special day.
Had the most AMAZING tour!!! My first time on the island and will definitely be returning. Enjoyed the sites as well as the photo ops and our guide was the BEST!
We appreciated our guide Rob. He was very friendly and answered all of our questions. He really gave us an idea of the culture on Antigua. We also stopped at many historical sites, many of which had very beautiful views.
We had an awesome time! Cheyvone is so friendly and it was honestly like hanging out with a friend for the day who showed us some awesome things at the same time. We saw lots of turtles, fish and the cool shipwreck. Thanks for the great time! 100% recommend!
All view points are amazing. It turns out our tour became private, just me and my friend. The tour guide, Kareem, is great: Knowledgeable and professional. Loved the tour, highly recommended.
My wife and I were on the Round Island Tour on January 22 with Michael as our driver and guide. We saw all the sites scheduled (Devil's Bridge, Shirley Heights and English Harbour) plus a lot more! As we took the South West drive back to St. John's we went through a number of small towns and beach areas, Michael gave us a history of each area and stopped several times to show us interesting plants and buildings. Michael has an extensive knowledge and a clear pride about his country. Very worthwhile tour - thanks! Dave and Karen
This was the highlight of our trip to Antigua - and there was some stiff competition! The team running the activity were great, very relaxed but very professional and reassuring. They emphasised giving people all the time they needed to explore and discover, unlike some other activities where things can feel a bit rushed and touristy (I'm looking at you, Stingray City). The scooters were just brilliant - so easy, fun and safe to use, my 8-yr old took to them like a duck to water and we spent a lot of time diving up and down with them. And best of all - some incredible moments swimming right next to big turtles and other fish including rays and puffers, and out to the clearer waters around the Pillars of Hercules. Highly recommended.
Cyril was a great tour guide and gave us a thorough tour of the island and so entertaining with a very infectious laugh, a real asset to the company. Would definitely recommend the tour company to anyone
