on tyhe way to crater lake park if you come from the south ,the overlook is awsome and the pinnacles are quite awsome,, it reminds me of the badlands in south dakota,,a must see
this is a great stop for a hike along the rim to view these wonder of nature...really amazing how these pinnacles were formed...take the time to gather great pic's to share with others...

Lower the river is for floating but in the National Park you can see why it got it’s name!

The sunset from the Fire Watch Tower was fantastic and there were 360 degree views of the lake along with the south and west sides of the park.
You can see Wizard Island from the top, and you can appreciate the whole park from this vantage point.
Garfield Peak

I really loved this hike, which starts from the lodge area and takes you up to the highest part of the park about 8900 feet.
A must do if you love to walk among nature.
Plaikni Falls

Once there, you'll be regaled with very colorful views of the falls, which contrast with the vegetation, and the rocks, making ir one of the most photogenic areas of the park.
We hiked this park of the park and had it all to ourselves and about 200+ butterflies.

There were bike/walking paths throughout the campground and a nice easy interpretive nature trail.
Park is quiet and peaceful during the week, but busy with camping families on the weekend.

The fall is relatively small, compared to others in the area, but beautiful and park service has really done a great job with making it photographically attractive.

Was a nice hike thru the woods and creek area to enjoy the many varieties of wildflowers in bloom....a favorite stop of our for beauty, peace, and quiet from nature sounds!
Definitely worth a stop on the East Rim drive at Crater Lake National Park!
Mount Scott

The trail is rated difficult by the Park, but it's only 2.2 miles (4.4 miles RT) to the summit and about 1,250' of elevation gain on a wide trail.
This was a 4.5 mile round trip hike that provides the best views in the national park.
