So good they listed it twice on Trip Advisor.Written 13 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nelgumford356 contributionsThe RNLI is an excellent collection of hero volunteers. Hurrah for them. They save a medium-sized integer of lives every year. As well as keeping the boat to hand, this place is essentially just a seafront shop that does not offer lavitorial services to the public.Written 13 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nelgumford356 contributionsThere stands Burry Port lighthouse, on the sea wall, helping the boats find the mouth of the harbour. As lighthouses go, it was a bit stumpy and a bit less lit than some that I have known but it was nice to get out there and see it up close.Written 8 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anthony C6 contributionsA bit off the beaten track but worth a look for anyone who is a fan of aviation history, local history of west wales and women's history (in particular the first woman to fly across the Atlantic, obviously). It is also worth noting that on the north side of Burry Port harbour are another couple of monuments to Amelia Earhart. One of which is a memorial plaque marking the point at which she actually came ashore from her seaplane "Friendship" and the buoy to which the aeroplane was tied after landing in the Burry Port bayWritten 13 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
