Nice active experience with fun crew (TebZzzzzz and Julian) bringing good vibes. Also nice to see the landscape from a down up side. Haven't felt unsafe for a second for those that considered.

    Enjoyed it very much.

My wife and I enjoyed this so much that we booked to do it again before we left!
The forest walk was beautiful and our guide was extremely knowledgable about the flora and fauna of the area. This was followed up by a really nice authentic South African picnic lunch.
The wildlife tour was fantastic. We got to see all the resident animals from Tenikwa and to learn about their habits, behaviours and backgrounds. Totally recommend!

Highly recommend! Such a fun way to experience archery. We've done a few beginners lessons, but you don't need any experience to try this activity. You start with a brief intro and practice at the targets then you walk through the trails and try your skills on the "animals". Each set-up is different and this type of archery course is truly unique. The guides are great, and they help you out along the way. Sheena was so friendly, positive and encouraging. The experience also includes photos and a video which was a bonus! Definitely do this!

Trip was amazing. Led by Tebssss and King Julian, they made it fun and enjoyable whilst also safe.

Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens), I was nervous and they encouraged me so much. They made it great fun for the rest of the family who were more adventurous.

Would highly recommend the trip and these guides.

Tenikwa is an incredible experience. It is magical to be so close to the rehabilitated and happy cats. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to visit this amazing center and we are in awe of the wonderful work that is being done here.
Our guide Boniwa was wonderful and made our experience both informative and meaningful. She interwove her knowledge of the cats and wildlife with snippets of cultural wisdom that we really enjoyed.
We had the best day ever!

We had a fantastic time, guided by the exceptional Enrique, who was very well informed and interested. There are loads of monkeys all over the place, amazing to be so close. I loved the gibbons best of all.

NB. Wear long pants and socks, the warnings by others on trip advisor about mosquitos are to be heeded. They are merciless. If you are prepared, with appropriate clothing and mosquito repellant, it will be a fantastic experience.

This is most definitely a whole day experience. You get to meet the wild animals that they have on show, go for a walk in the forest with a guide and have breakfast and lunch. The rehabilitation hospital wasn't very active when we were there, but we still got to help a few of the animals. It is of course a good thing that they did not need to look after too many animals at the moment.
Tenikwa has struggled to recover from COVID like many places and I believe the money we spent was going to really good use for these animals.

The forest is absolutely beautiful and so are the birds. You need to walk slowly and take your time look everywhere because some birds hide. There are birds that come right up to you and sing and make noises.

We did two tours, led by Graeme who was a great guide and stayed with us the whole time. The first day we did a Garden Route to the Crags tour, taking in everything specified on the description. The scenery is amazing and the stops were great. It was a very full and long day. Graeme especially wanted us to get the most out of the next day as we had a short half-day and agreed to pick us up even earlier from the ship. We went to Addo Elephant Park and did indeed see many elephants and other animals, though sadly no lions. I can fully recommend Alan Tours.

We visited for a private wildlife tour on Thursday 8th. We had an amazing time thanks to our fantastic guide Msizi Shange. He was very knowledgeable and had a great affinity with the animals. It helped that it was an overcast day so the animals were in view (not hiding in the shade). Obviously you can only see the lions, cheetah & leopard from behind a fence but you are still very close. Plenty of picture opportunities! You can walk amongst the African wild cats, servals & tortoises. There are also a caracals, a few penguins, cranes, herons & very playful meerkats. We would highly recommend a visit here.

I decided my husband and I should do the zip line experience, being a senior citizen wasnt going to put me off. My husband was not at all keen, but I was rearing to go.
The welcome was warm and informative, the gear suitable , although my gloves had several holes in them, not good on a zip line where friction burns could be very painful.
Guides was really good fun and encouraged everyone in the group to participate in loud screaming etc., It came my turn and after the lst station I really did not enjoy at all. Unfortunately, there is no way down and you have to complete the l0-stations each one getting longer and faster. I panicked on number six and had to tandum with our guide, who shouted lift your feet coming in to land, but unfortunately, panic was in control and I hit my ankle against the landing station. Very painful, but had to finish the course assisted. No real first aid applied, sprayed with deep heat, but no support bandages etc., Do think facility could have done better. Eventually found I had broken my tipula. However, my husband thoroughly enjoyed the experience, this one was just not for me. Perhaps a little bit more first aid knowledge would have been helpful and an emergency escape route should the need arise.
