We hadn’t been to Uluwatu Temple before on our travels so thought we would check it out.

The views are beautiful. You are given a sarong to wear included in the admission price.

Only downside was to be careful of the monkeys as they steal glasses, hats and personal belongings but you are warned before you go in. We didn’t wear our glasses or hats and were fine.

    We would recommend visiting Uluwatu.

We stayed here in May and we found it to be an amazing, magical place. So many hidden places, laneways and so many stairs which all lead to something magical. We stayed in the cliffs at Bale Bingin Hotel. It was simple but suitable. The views far outweigh anything negative about the hotel itself. So many funky restaurants around. Gooseberry, French Bakery and The Cashew Tree Collective, The Loft, Rolling Fork and so many more. The only real way to get around is on a scooter. Walking is a bit dangerous. Highly recommend this cute beach village.

I love the beach. It's a hidden beach so you need to go down the stairs to get the beach. Beware of monkey during going down. Right after you get the beach, you'll find a very beautiful beach with corals. The wave is good to surf.

Padang padang beach has knows since several years ago. I visited here about 5 years ago, and it was quiet back time. But still....the beach is still clean. This beach is accessible down a few flights of steps (steep) and through a limestone crevice beside a bridge. And be careful with the monkeys.
I like padang padang beach because it is a white sand beach with an amazing ocean view and a small sandy area for sunbathing...and for sure...do nothing and enjoy the view. I dont recomment for the sunset view. If you have a time along your visit to the uluwatu temple nearby.
Over all, padang padang beach is a good white sand beach to visit. Enjoy!

It is a pristine stretch of the same Uluwatu coastline located on the east of Uluwatu. It is also one of Bali’s least visited beaches. That maybe because of its far-flung location and the long hike required to reach it. However, it offers incredible views of the ocean.Nyang Nyang Beach has great waves, hence it is also a popular destination for surfers.

Lovely beach. Nice for a rest and walk - one of the best in Bali.
It has a nice restaurant as well - where we had pizza.

This was hands down the best view and coolest photo spot we visited on our 10 day trip to Bali. It was hard to find but our driver was willing to drive on the dirt road and helped us find the right path to hike down (less than 10 minutes) to get out to the cliff. So worth it!! Standing on top of the cliff looking out into the ocean, with no one else around, was a breathtaking experience and one I’ll never forget. Not to mention, it made for a great photo!

I was so excited to find this place and I’ve been 3 times already and highly recommend everyone to come have dinner overlooking the cliffs in the bird nest ! Views are amazing and place itself is very unique.. they are still working on it but it’s already great! Food is great too and you get to use their pool and it’s the best place for sunset and not crowded!

You guessed it an entry fee. My driver dropped me off in the car park and i walked down. On the day there was a festival and was unsure if I should be there or not. It was a warm day so i continued down the steep steps and a lot of the beach was roped off but still plenty of space for me to put down my towel. Although a few peole her unlike Kuta and Legian I felt it would be safe. The water was simple great, I spent about an hour and half here but felt for my driver sitting in the hot sun so I left. The steps were a bit of a challenge in places for my little legs but was worth every step to have been here. There is a shop selling cold drinks and things and yes bintang for those that cant go without it. If you want a nice quiet unpolluted beach get Quality Bali Tour driver to drop you off here, or chat to them about other beaches away from the real busy tourist strip. Definately on my next trip.

I will never forget the experience of visiting this spot. It hidden from the sights and the view is spectacular. Safe beach to swim, not many tourist around. But the wave could be high sometimes you need to aware of.
The area, somehow, gave an impression that life is short, do the best we can do, and be grateful for it. Never want to leave and will be back for sure

50k entrance fee for the temple, 150k for the show that takes about a hour. Nice to see, but be aware the temple closes right after the show. Show is a 17:55. Better come earlier.

Fantastic course with ocean views. This is a magnificent course for the golf fanatic. It is pricey but so are the other courses in Bali. The ocean views from several holes are stunning.

We have done a few sessions of yoga here in the morning. The class is from 7:30-9am. Our teacher Annabelle was lovely.
Beautiful Spanish accent and had a great way of teaching yoga. Each day was a different practice. Slow and mindful.
The view out to the ocean while practicing yoga really helps to draw energy into the space.
You get a free fresh coconut after the class and also 10% off the food at Mana restaurant.

We had them drive us all over while we were in Bali for a month and they were the best drivers we had. Love these guys.
