What travellers are saying
- Hugh1944Winston Park, South Africa270 contributionsThis was our first visit, by our daughter and son-in-law have been often. The place has a great vibe, and 6 of us had a super lunch. The staff are helpful and attentive, and the food is just great. We had a cheese sharing board and a charcuterie sharing board for starters. The cured meats are locally sourced. Tempura prawns and baked camembert were enjoyed as well as their own Rose wine. We will be back!Written 24 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mariaan1969Roodepoort, South Africa218 contributionsWe went through on a Sunday when it was a lot quieter. We had amazing service and sat outside on the newer deck at the Tap Room. We did the beer tasting and met a lot of very friendly local people and tourists. A pity it is not dog friendly.Written 6 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 111TWIGAMINHAAFRIKABristol, UK6Â 607 contributionsAs we drove into Nottingham Road, making notes for shopping etc, we turned off the main road and found the Aladdin's de-light tucked away around the corner.
Parking area a little rough and short walk to view several galleries, the Aladdin's being the main purpose for the visit.
Very friendly welcome by the member of staff, lots of artwork, pottery on view, all created by local artists.
Arts and crafts galore, interesting place.Written 24 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - PrincessetamiSandton, South Africa431 contributionsWe went here , it was so dull and dreary, very disorganized. There were 3 people having a horse ride (and having coffee- looked like ricoffe) . We used the toilets, no one served us or helped us and we left. No one even seemed to care that we left.
Only good thing was seeing a beautiful peacock and patting a horse.
Not even sure how it stays open.Written 16 August 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Marius SchoemanCenturion, South Africa136 contributionsWe visited Midlands over 3 days. We where disappointed by a number of places. Piggly Wiggly was undoubtedly the best attraction other than Benvi Gardens. The place is clean. The art galary has beautiful art. There is furrniture factory store with beautifully crafted furniture. We had lub at the restaurant - like most of our Midlands experience - service was not great. I waited what felt like forever to get the bill. My wife left to look at other stores while I had to wait to get attention to pay for lunch.Written 31 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- irishmike60Hillcrest, South Africa258 contributionsThe variety of goods for sale is extensive and there are some good bargain buys among all the merchandise, but one b=needs to be careful. Not all is local, and some imported from the East, and some very poor quality. But a discerning browser would enjoy spending some time here and pick up a bargain or two.Written 22 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
