- Gene R JSilver Spring, MD10 669 contributionsAfter visiting 13th C Garic Grad and the 1967 Monument to the Revolution of the People of Moslavina, we drove 50 km E to the small village of Daruvar, to walk around this large Baroque castle built in 1780. Although it, and its wine cellar (accessed separately to the side), was closed, the parkland was open with several pictures and signs in English. In the back was the spectacular male Ginkgo tree planted in this period and is now protected by the state as the oldest/largest in the country. This is a nice quiet area to enjoy a picnic.Written 27 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- PivomanVeliki Grdevac, Croatia2 contributionsExtremely disappointed with our visit to the much acclaimed (by locals) swimming facility.
It is not possible to swim as the water is only waist deep (at its deepest). Of the two small water slides, one was closed. Non of the internal food stalls were open (middle of August). At no stage throughout our visit did you see a member of staff / life guards wandering around. The only staff we saw was the lady taking your 55 kuna per person to enter the facility. There is no background music playing. In fact after 30 minutes (unless your under the age of 6) you will become extremely bored.
The owners should take a trip to Tuhunski Toplice and see how a facility should be run, plenty of staff to keep (1) kids safe, (2) kids and adults alike busy (3) bring some cheer and life to the location.
A long trip for us sadly did not meet anywhere near our expectations. Won’t be going back.nWritten 23 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can even book a room and spend a night at vineyard.
Best wishes for owners and thank you for hospitality!Written 18 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It can be fun, but there is no thet much place to go there. Waiting to get service can be troublesom.Written 27 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
