This is the oldest and largest meteorite crater in the world (well to be precise 2nd oldest as an Australian crater is now the oldest). But 2.2 billions years old is still very old !! :)

Lions are in enclosures. There are not many animals. The restaurant needs attention in all areas. In contrast, a visit to this farm makes for a lazy outing. Picking the berries directly from the trees was different and great fun. Lovely view of the Vaal river. Try their local wine offerings. Pretty sure you can find something stylish at a price to suit your pocket. Not only furniture. General variety of collectible items. I saw a gramophone. - Terryanne123wookie5 contributionsThe estate is beautiful and very secure. Security guard was a real treat! So knowledgable and friendly. The house we stayed in was super clean and very modern although damp appears to be a bit of an issue and the toilets battled to flush properly. Parys itself is sweet and definitely worth a visit. Hoi ploi is amazing to eat at and so is Angelo’s for good Italian.
