- Ulrike6 contributionsI'm a quiet experienced horserider myself. But I have had a severe accident at high speed a few years ago, and I'm scared at very high speed. The 2 guys who were with me on the tour could cross over the beach, the guide did really care about me and stayed a little behind with me so I could canter on a more steady speed. It made my experience wonderfull! I have never been horseriding on the beach and I loved it, thanks to my wonderfull guide! - Andrea RSolihull, UK162 contributionsWe had an amazing trip. James our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. On our way to Cape Agulhas we stopped several times. One of the stops included a lovely little cove where the Penguins live. Although the weather wasn’t at its best it was amazing to see the contrasting scenery and some very quaint towns. - Roger M4 contributionsWe've had many friends who loved the Fynbos Trail and now we know why! We finally got a group together and made a booking. Loved it! Such a treat to explore the varied aspects of the different elements of Fynbos. Ian was a fantastic host and Billy as a guide is an absolute must! He brought so many things to our attention, especially the small things in the flora. Loved his warm, amusing, passionate style as he shared this place that is so close to his heart. Accommodation is great and worked well. - sosman2607Sydney, Australia119 contributionsMy dad and I did the 2hr mountain ride with Howard. What a lovely experience to be in the foothills surrounded by glorious fynbos. Beautiful and peaceful. Our horses Patches and Pico were well behaved and sure footed. There are opportunities for experienced riders to trot and canter.
