Super distillery, with a fantastic visitor centre. We were in a guided cycle tour of the area and what a fantastic start.
Of note was the story room where we had the privilege of Valerie guiding us and informing of local history and culture, as well as the infamous Wildcat. Way more information than just the super tasting whisky. A great way to set the scene for the rest of the cycle tour.
Did you know that only 5% of Clynelish whisky is bottled for general sale? The rest goes in to making the various Johnnie Walker labels.
Outstanding place and a must visit location if your ever in the Brora region.
    Thank you Valerie 🙌

This is a must go to beach, miles of sand, dog friendly and not too many people, just perfect. Did a walk down to the village from CMC site

The heritage of Brora is rich and bountiful ... Coal, salt, Jurassic stone, fishing, Hunters tweed, Crofters, Clynelish/Brora whisky, Brora brick, Cold War listening station, Electric City and Capaldis Ice cream to name a few.
With two beaches a river leading to beautiful Loch Brora and beyond.
The heritage centre, just off the A9 towards Loch Brora via Coal pit road has an amazing collection which is well worth a visit.

Hidden gem! Absolutely amazing spot and so glad I checked trip advisor first as the single track road with the river crossing would have usually put me off. Did a few hours of paddleboarding, water was a little choppy but it was high winds so was expected. Thanks for the recommendations - Would also recommend this spot😊🌊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Fabulous course with stunning views. The 1st hole is a short par 4 and 18 is a 200 yd up hill monster and if you don't land, and stick it you roll back down the hill for a 20 yard near vertical chip! In between those two is an enormous amount of fun golf and spectacular views.

A real gem on route NC500. A fascinating collection of antiques for any budget, and all high quality items carefully selected by the owners. The word Unique comes to mind when one remembers one's visit. They arranged delivery of the 18th centure cabinet I bought for a friend in Oxford for a very reasonable price. Top marks all along. If you travel through Brora, a must see. Or rather plan your journey to do that.

I attended a family wedding reception here in September. The food was good quality. Some more Scottish draught beers would be a good idea. The staff were accommodating. The views are fantastic!

I have visited a few times over the years and most recently to purchase a gorgeous vintage faux fur coat which had been on display. Although opening hours are sporadic as Lesley, the owner, also works another job if you call in advance she will be sure to open for you. It’s worth doing this as what’s in the shop is lot even half of her collection! It is also worth making a special trip to the shop as you won’t find anything like it anywhere else. A real asset in Brora.

What a wonderful little shop located on the main street as you pass through Brora. The quality of everything is first class and the shop is really well stocked with a wide variety of unique products. We really enjoyed browsing around the shop and bought a really nice bespoke table lamp. The lady in the shop is lovely and is more than happy to have a chat. She really makes you feel welcome and that is equally as important as the content of the shop.

I would definitely recommend a visit to this shop if you're visiting or passing through Brora.
