Our 6th story apartment (Torre Alta) on Via Fillungo has probably the best 360 degree view of Lucca, but the Torre Guinigi is well worth a visit, both for the views and the trees planted on the top.

The walls of the town are some of the most complete of their kind anywhere in the world and the Tower Guinigi which is topped by trees is a MUST. the view from the top is well worth the hair-raising climb.
The bell tower climb and the views from the top are a wonderful bonus to a visit here.
