But the shop is filled with a lot of very adorable souvenirs at affordable prices that makes you wanna bring every single one home!
The store is very cutesy and cozy, with a lot of super cute Maru stuff to buy :) it was very easy to find also, as it’s super close to the subway station

We browsed the shop after and were able to snag a recent printing of The Great Wave, carved by Mr. Bull himself, who even insisted on repairing a minor flaw in the paper in front of us.
What started as a hastily organised activity to do on a rainy day in Tokyo turned into an unexpected highlight of our stay - and one I cannot recommend doing highly enough!

I would very highly recommend this place when shopping for a gift, a personalised senjafuda makes a wonderful gift for close friends and loved ones.
Run by a lovely man and women with good English, this shop will walk you through the process of having your name rendered into Japanese Kanji characters and then engraved (laser cut, I think) onto a small rectangl...

best place to end a Tokyo visit as it's super close to the airport and has almost everything you need -- taxfree shopping, yummy street food, good Japanese restos as well as thrift shops galore!
Just across from Ueno station and crowded in beside the Metro track Ameyoko Shopping Street is a great place to buy a souvenir, grab a bargain and the street food is excellent, with so much competition only the be...

It's a fantastic spot on a rainy day as it's all under cover, there are some benches and free wifi, and you can get coffee and a light bite from the cafe.
Great to spend a few hours here, as all the shop keepers are eager to explain and share their passion with you.

Where else can you get wonderful Soba/Udon, Sushi on 9-11th floor restaurants and then Dominique Ansel (yes the Cronut creator) on the Food Hall Floor (Level B1).
Beside the multiple fashion brand, both local and international, the depachika food hall at the basement worth the visit.

Small store but a huge selection of all types of pearls (including pearls and diamonds), prices also varied to accomodate small budgets as well.
If you are looking to purchase a pearl necklace while in Japan or have an older necklace redesigned and lengthened as I did, I cannot recommend Pearl Seiwa highly enough.

We picked out so many unique items which are made in Japan and would make such perfect gifts rather than the run-of-the-mill souvenirs at airports and tourist traps.
What started out as a spontaneous outing to explore Ginza, one of the most renowned shopping districts in Asia, eventually ended up in a 3/4 day exploration of this wonderful stationery Mecca.

You can spend the entire day here, first with Sky Tree and the fabulous views, followed by lots of fun shopping with many many stores, both international as well as Japanese local.
Tokyo Solamachi is a great mall to hang out after visiting the Tokyo Skytree & the Sumida Aquariam as there’s a lot out of shop to visit and restaurant to dine in.

Japan, 〒100-0005 Tōkyō-to, Chiyoda City, Marunouchi, 1-chōme−9−1, 東京駅一番街, B1 Best place to look for ramen shops side by side.
Different Ramen shops to choose from with queues but luckily we managed to get seats from one of the newly opened Ramen store - a tonkatsu Ramen.

Great food (seriously good sushi restaurant), interesting shops, a good supermarket (B1) and a fabulous and free natural science museum.
The Kitte building has shops, a viewpoint that overlooks Tokyo station, and, the best aspect for me, lots and lots of interesting restaurants.

Just one of the many wonderful shopping venues in Ginza, but a true gem if looking for some prepared foods, either sweets or savory.
Had gone there to visit the basement Food Hall which was as fascinating as expected with the high end, beautifully presented arrays of candies, cakes etc.
