When I checked the possible ways to visit this mine I found there are a number of tours which are really quite expensive.

However I booked directly with them and it was R360 for two people for the surface tour which is 1 1/2 hours. The underground tour isn't available currently but this is a much better option for us

We went to the park as a last minute choice, we weren't sure what to expect from it. With an 8yr old and 3yr old it was really a fantastic trip, up close and personal with the Lions and Cheetahs, it made my daughters whole trip to SA. The guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable and really made it feel like a personal event. It is highly recommended.

It was a amazing trip, loved the tour guide. (She was helpful and makes the pretties necklaces.) Please go and support her. The museum looks beautiful and it's the most wonderful experience one could ever have. Would highly recommend for anyone to visit the museum.

Paid this memorial a visit and its a pity it is closed on weekends..

On the bright side it is very well looked after and looks very nice...

The management must make a plan for the people to visit on weekends when they are off, and so they will generate much more interest...

Hopefully we can make a visit when they are open...

All photos taken from outside the gates....

The hiking trails are easy for a relaxing walk. They are fairly well marked. We saw different species of buck. And giraffe, from a distance. The views from the high points are beautiful. The winter landscape with the blue blue sky provided beautiful photos. This is a pleasant outing when you are on a weekend visit to Cullinan.

What a wonderful evening we had with a personal chef experience. The food was delicious and paired with a marvelous wine tasting. Chef JB Bekker was very knowledgeable on his food and wine and treated us like royalty. He treated us to wonderful anecdotes of his travels and it all made for a fantastic dinner experience. Highly recommended - I would book if you want a personal chef experience.

It was quite intimidating at first as it was my first time engaging with a horse.

Now as you can imagine lots of things go through your mind, will you be safe? Will the instructors be there to help you? The questions are endless.

When we arrived there was a slight old time charm to the place, and right in the middle a stationary old coach train which is now used for accommodation.

The horses are just off to the side not too far from the main building.

You are allowed to purchase drinks (can't take them with you on the ride though - naturally)

The instructors were good they helped us mount our horses and explained everything we needed to know about steering our horses.

What they didn't tell us was just how well trained the horses are, honestly we didnt really have to do much as the horses already knew where they had to go and how they had to behave.

My horse-friend was a bit more curious than the others but didn't give me too much trouble.

The ride itself was so scenic and very relaxing, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Just need to get hsed to the motion.

I certainly recommend it. Solid 4 stars from me. The only thing really that let me down was the picnic basket with snacks in it after the ride. I was hoping for more foody items instead we got chips, chocolates, candy and some crackers along with a bottle of wine.

Perhaps when booking the combo rather for the horseride and braai if you'll be needing a meal afterwards.

Erica was wonderful in every area: communication, vision, sale, and follow-up. She went above and beyond expectations, and we are thrilled with the results. We've had multiple complements already. Thank you very much Erica!

We received the Full moon glide experience as a gist and did not know what to expect. Only once a month, when it is a full moon, they offer this package. On arrival we were greeted friendly and asked to complete and sign the indemnity forms.

We then relaxed on the deck with a sun-downer. Our first activity was a game drive, while watching the African sun set slowly. Back at the Muningi Gorge we gathered around the fire pit while our dinner was prepared (braaivleis) After dinner we got geared up for our full moon adventure.

After a full safety briefing they took us to the first zip line. It was very dark and the full moon appeared as if it waited for our adventure. It was definitely thrilling gliding from the one side of the gorge to the other. Just when we started to feel at ease it was over.

Definitely work doing if you are an adventure seeker looking for something different!

What an incredible experience! Our soccer team decided to take a break from the field and delve into a different kind of adventure by visiting this fascinating the Cullinan diamond mine.

The tour guides were not only knowledgeable but also engaging, keeping us entertained with stories of the mine's past and insights into the mining process. We learned about the challenges faced by miners and gained a newfound appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
