The Cups Estate Rye
#10 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
After visiting several wineries on the Peninsula I came across The Cups Estate on Trip Advisor and had lunch there on a Sunday.
This is a smallish winery with the restaurant and wine tasting in the same area, decor rustic but comfortable but the food was beautiful, we had shared platters and loved all the courses.

Old Apple Shed Boneo
#11 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
I am always on the hunt for a good, alcoholic ginger beer when I go to wineries / cider places and the Old Apple Shed's is amazing!
A really nice set up, quiet, beautiful scenery and relaxing sitting by the vineyards.
Rahona Valley Vineyard Red Hill
#12 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
How pleasant it was to taste the wines, sit out under the trees & take in the beauty of this delightful setting without the crowds that sometimes impact on your experience at the larger wineries in the area.
Really great little vineyard in Red Hill, the Pinot Noir alone was worth the visit, they also do a really lovely sparkling and very good value cheese platters.

Crittenden Estate Dromana
#15 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
Crittenden was one of my favourite wineries of the day - quality wines at a variety of price points along with a relaxed and informative tasting experience.
Wines from the area are great (a couple exceptional) & they also have wines from grapes from other regions made in the winery, as well as some different varieties.
Quealy Winemakers Balnarring
#16 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
We bought several wines to take home and I can only say that this winery is a "MUST VISIT" if you are touring the Mornington Peninsula wineries.
This is a really hospitable cellar door set inside the working winery, where we got to try some grapes just picked, wine from fermenting tank and of course their Italian varietals as well as some classic MP variet...

Polperro Winery Red Hill
#20 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
There are many beautiful wineries on the Mornington Peninsula but this is one of the best.

Red Hill Estate Red Hill
#23 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
Staff were friendly, the range on offer was vast and varied including a few fortified wines which weren't too common around other nearby wineries I visited that day, and it has a lovely view.
What can I say? as soon as I got out of the vehicle, I was speechless - the stunning views over the vineyards then the view of the ocean was incredible.

Main Ridge Estate Red Hill
#26 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
The atmosphere was great, a few people around but it isnt one of those wineries with bus tours and hordes, just a small local place with great wine and owners on hand to talk you through them.
The wine is really good quality and fair value for money and the platters were just gorgeous with lots of Mediterranean influences and in such a nice terrace overlooking the vineyards.
Stoniers Vineyard Merricks
#27 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
As one of the 1st wineries to set up in Mornington Peninsula, this cool climate region is producing some top quality Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and bubbles.

Panton Vineyard Shoreham
#32 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
Visited Panton Vinyard as part of a winery tour with MP - out of 6 wineries we visited, this was definitely my favorite.
So glad we did, what a idyllic little winery set on top of the ridge, with their gardens and vines just descending gently into the valley below.
Ten Minutes by Tractor Main Ridge
#34 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
The nicest of boutique wineries!
Having also visited many other local wineries, the $5 tasting fee is normal in the region, and much less than a $20ea fee demanded at one place!
Nazaaray Estate Winery Flinders
#37 of 68 Food & Drink in Mornington Peninsula
We just had the most wonderful experience at Nazaaray winery, the food platter we were enjoyed was just sensational with a taste of homemade delights, offer g beautiful flavours.
You aren't likely to find this vineyard on any wine tour ... but troll around the other vineyards for their favorites and this place will most certainly make the list.
