Probably one of very few places that i saw feeding tortoises the right food. So bad that I found it more less by coincidence at the end of my long hiking at the Saxon/Czech border. Although it is not really big area it is definitely a place for a day trip and I will surely come back soon to explore it deeper.
There are plenty well marked hiking trails. Some of them comfortable, some of them more wild requiring solid shoes.
Easiest start of the hike is from big paid parking lot near restaurant Gondelfahrt. Parking fee is 4 EUR a day. Several marked trails start directly here.
