- wosi89Manila, Philippines4 contributionsIt's a nice place to go to. Not too much tourists making one enjoy the place more. Clean toilets and reasonable entrance fee.Written 30 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Alyssa B5 contributionsThis was an excellent day out. There was heaps of information about various aspects of Bali life, interactive activities, dancing, temples, cooking and a delicious lunch. Well worth going.Written 21 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- spenaChester, UK331 contributionsHaving visited the more popular Tanah Lot temple we were surprised at how quiet this location is.
We were staying at Bali Natha Beachfront Private Bungalows some 200 metres away. We were the only ones fortunate enough to visit at low tide with the exception of local fishermen. Less Comercial than Tanah Lot. Same access restrictions to the “sacred area” no charge.
It was a smaller version than its counterpart without the crowds.Written 6 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Only cost 10,000 ($1 aud) each . Path is off the beaten track, so if you're not used to that be careful as the stairs can be slippery but there is a rail. Well worth it, but this is not set up as a tourist hub, something that we personally liked, but others may not. Great work out as well . - Dan LBunbury, Australia9Â 012 contributionsAnother one of the many excellent statues/monuments that have been erected throughout Bali, unfortunately nearly always located at busy road junctions. This creation is erected on an elevated park area beside the busy Jalan Raya Denpasar - Gilimanuk in Mengwitani Village. Had to satisfy ourselves with a slow drive past and a few unobstructed photos. It tells the story of the love and devotion of Rama and Shinta which endured to the end.Written 16 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia9Â 012 contributionsThis monument is located on Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai near the Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi. Our driver dared to stop, and I was able to take a few good photos including that of the informative plaque. It pays homage to King Mengwi, the title Bhima Shakti bestowed by the people of Badung during the 17th century. The statue is a symbol of the former glory of the of the Mengwi Kingdom.Written 16 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
