- Rodica N7 contributionsMore thrilling than expected. Seeing young kids getting on I assumed it is not too high intensity. I was wrong. Nice experience.Written 5 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MaiTaiMontreal, Canada1 774 contributionsWe were worried with weather getting warmer there would be no skiing or tubing end of March. Luckily skiing and skiing was still an option “spring skiing “ the mild temperatures allowed the kids to last longer outdoors.. since wheat her is warmer snow is softer and a little slower for us novice. Even my difficult teen enjoyed himself skiing this year.
Finding options were difficult due to restrictions. Reservations were scarce even with advance notice.. limes were long to dine in.. however we managed to get in a few places for dinner.Written 4 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The water temperatures were very warm in all pools and the hot tub was a soothing heat. The staff was great, they let kids be kids and only interjected if there was a genuine safety concern like diving in shallow water. The waterslide was a hit with our kids. The cost is expensive, I recommend carving out 2-4 hours here to get the best bang for your buck. We plan on coming back again.Written 3 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Stephen MFergus, Canada164 contributionsIf you want a sandy beach, this is not it. The beach is mostly shale/rock and that is what you will find in the water as well. However, the water is great and clear with very little algae or debris. They are currently requiring reservations on weekends even if you have a season pass (found out after we shoed up expecting to just get in) but week days you are good with your pass. The parking can be an issue are the beach area but there is overflow parling as you enter the park which is a short walk to the beach/day use area.
We found lots of fossils for the kids to look at while there and they got right into the search with us. Mostly simple shells but we did find a nice large one with quite a bit of detail. There are signs posted to not take rocks/stones from the park, I presum to prevent a lot of fossil taking so just be prepared to let the kids know you will be leaving them behind.
We did not camp there but the camp sites looked very clean and well spaced out. Lots of trailers there and a few tents when we went through. I imaging pitching a tent might be a challenge due to the rocky soil.Written 7 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was invigorating standing on the shore, with the icy wind and waves crashing onto the shore. There is plenty of parking, and benches to sit on. The area is nice for walking.Written 12 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
