A very friendly staff welcomed us. We took the 1.5 hours walking tour. It was very well guided with a lot of information about the mining history in this region. Well also for little children (6 years is minimum). Reserve a tour if you are a larger group. Last tour starts at 2 p.m. Very reasonable prices
Guides seem to be only available in German but ask for English.
A stunning church: late gothic and early renaissance architecture and sculpture at its best. Also some nice 16th century paintings, the paintings mostly poorly lit, though.
If you see one place in Annaberg-Buchholz, this is it. The carvings done by local wood carvers is a must see. The work is really a must see. It is top notch.
