It's been about two and a half year since I was here. And I really wish I can go back one day in the future. They made us feel very welcome. They did their absolute best to make our experience as good as possible. The animals looked to thrive and in good health. Everybody around was nice. With my experience in mind, I can really recommend a visit. …

What a fantastic time we had at Buffelsfontein.... I HIGHLY recommend it. A visit there and a game-drive should be on everyone's bucket list. We did the 90 min drive with guide Willie, (starting off with tea, lovely filter coffee or orange juice) He was brilliant, full of information about the animals, even knew their names. What I loved was he knew exactly where to go with the covered converted army buffel to get the best viewing experience and he also turned engine off for us to be able to hear the animals and also naturally, not to disturb them. The time flew by and we were then returned to the restaurant for more devine coffee. If you do the 9 o'clock drive be sure to take a jacket with as it can be quite chilly out there. GO AND EXPERIENCE THIS FOR YOURSELF... 😁💕…

One of my colleagues suggested me to go on a game drive in Buffelsfontein. We enquired through emails and got our game drive confirmed for 2pm on a Sunday. The price for an adult was R 650 for a 3 hour game drive. It was a 45minute drive from Cape Town. We got seats in an army van and our guide was a very jovial person. The ride started on a road with sands on both sides giving it the desert feel. The weather was a bit cloudy and it was tremendously cold with the winds driving us crazy. We got close to a number of animals like the Springbok deer, the blue wildebeest, giraffe, the red hartebeest and other antelopes, the oryx, the white rhinoceros and ostriches. We were taken inside a locked area where a leopard was sleeping. It saw us and woke up, looked around and we got a chance to take pictures with the leopard. It was a semi-trained leopard hence wasn't excited seeing us around it. lastly we saw the African lion and his family. They were caged and were furiously roaring seeing us. Our guide gave them a few meat pieces and the lions and lionesses jumped on them and got busy in no time. We saw beautiful views on our game drive and it was an amazing experience.…

We were around Simon's town for work and had no plans for the weekend. Ended up spending one afternoon here at a very reasonable price to see the amount of diversity in the park. The guide was a very nice guy that answered all kind of questions without any problem. We called in advance for reservations as it is far away from Simon's town and we did not want to drive a the way for nothing. We saw giraffs, bisons, rhinos, nyus, zebra, and different types of antelope. The lions and black leopard are closed, while the rest can freely move around the place. Very recommendable, the animals all look very happy and healthy.…
