Such an amazingly tranquil place.
Beautiful surroundings, quiet, peaceful feel to it. It is not too far from big towns and now, with the new mall close by, it is even better.

My wife and I visited the place, but found it totally overrated. A few old pieces, cameras covered in dust as part of an "exhibition". Really!? Rated as excellent? No way.

I live in Heidelberg and when I get a chance I love to have a browse around this place, there are so many interesting things to tempt you, from books to art deco kitchen cabinets, old chests to military equipment. I bought myself an old soldiers helmet here, weighs a ton but I love it. This shop is well worth taking a detour for and the charming Glen will always give you a warm welcome.

Glen is a remarkable entrepreneur and artist with an absorbing process of acquiring and restoring, seeing potential in pieces that others would easily discard. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better place for treasure hunting when traveling along the Garden Route. Be sure to check it out!

What a wonderful hidden gem in Heidelberg. A short trip off the N2 to a wonderful (big) shop with lots of antiques and collectibles. Glen, the owner, is clearly passionate about art and has some wonderful pieces of furniture, all with a story to tell... definitely worth a visit.

Based on the famous and fascinating American Pickers show, your African picker and general guru on all things old, rusted and restored, Glen gives you a warm welcome with not only a cup of coffee, but a walk down memory lane as you reminisce about your days in your dads Cortina, or playing records of old that remind of you of your childhood.
African pickers is well worth a visit and should become a must see along the famous N2/garden route stretch...
Thank you Glen for re-inventing our past!!!

What a welcome; Glen is a fantastic chap and really conveys a passion for what he trades in. Delighted with my rare find there and the trip from Cape Town was well worth it. Will definitely be back again soon for a chat and a browse. The shop stock a wide variety of collectables in a great space!
