I needed some information about Graaff Reinet (including how to spell the place) and stopped in for help. The staff member immediately dropped what he was doing and took me over to the brochure display. He helped me find info on GR and surrounds, including the Valley of Desolation overlook. Before I left he also asked if there were other places I wanted to know about and recommended some additional stops on our trip. Very positive encounter!

A typical INformation and Tourism Office where you will find lots of local information covering everything from Food and Drink to Concerts and entertainment. If you are looking for accommodation then they have an excellent website with direct booking available.

So glad we stopped off here. Helpful staff. And so friendly. The gentleman we spoke to gave us some maps and brochures which really helped us get around. And he had alot of information for us. If only everyone could be this friendly and helpful. I felt right at home in Port Alfred because of this. Will always stop here first when going to Port Alfred

Have been into the tourism office on numerous occasions over the past few years. Great facility with well trained staff who are always willing to assist and offer advice on where to stay and what the town has on offer

A delightful, warm and welcoming set of offices. Tourism staff A+- knowledgeable, extremely helpful. Masses of information in the form of booklets, maps, chatty staff who go out of their way to be of assistance.

We were most impressed with the assistance we were given at this visitor centre. The staff member who dealt with our queries had all the knowledge at his finger tips and he obviously knew the town very well. With the advice that he gave us, as well as the pamphlets containing maps, we had no problems in finding our way around the town.
