When we passed here on out walk from Coogie to Bondi there was an Art on the Sea festival with interesting exhibits from many artists. At the end of the walk you could vote for the best artist.

Would you believe that at one time the entire beach was covered by an amusement park, complete with a zoo and rides? Take the coastal walk to Tamarama and read the signs - the area has an interesting history. It's a beautiful beach, with clean...More

Love this beach but parking can be a nightmare wnd there is often a strong rip which gets poor swimmers and tourists into trouble.

Tamarama beach was showcasing sculptures by the sea when we visited. Clean and great for families of all ages. We loved it!

I love this beach. It is quiet small but very lively. Many surfers. High waves, very nice for waterfun. Don't need to go to a waterpark, just go here! I think for families with little children other beaches are safer.

Walked here enjoying the sculptures, there are a lot on Tamarama Beach, and there are water stations and a cafe there also so good for a break before walking back or catching the bus back to Bondi.

As part of the Sculpture by the Sea walk Tamarama was very busy and many were enjoying the water as well as the works of art. People were picnicking, sunbaking, talking - what a sight! Great. 🤗.

A good beach at any time but more interesting with the Sculptures by the Sea which attracted thousands doing the walk from Bondi Beach at the weekend. Hard to drive there with the road restrictions for a "special event" but worth the extra effort.

Small beach very kind for kids and parents. Bbq, play area, great garden. Convenience. Bus stop nearest. Great walk from Bondi Beach or Coogee.

I love to head here for a quiet moment midweek, or a sur if the conditions are good. Gets crowded on the weekend so head down at low tide and get a spot on the rocks to the left of the beach.
