A nice quick detour away from the crowded area at the citadel. The cave itself is interesting, but don't expect too much. The cave has only one gallery and the tour takes 15 minutes. After knowing this, you can make up your mind if it's...More

OK but not special. Solution for rainy day. If you live near for a year go. If you visit Romania for 2 weeks there are other things to see before. For example bear cave not near but something unique.

We were travelling by car and planned on visiting other sites, and by chance saw a sign for the cave near Rasnov, so decided to visit - there is a 10 minute walk up a wide path (or stairs going just next to the path)...More

Small cave based just past the castle / Dino park. Excellent guide. The short tour lasts about 15minutes. We saw a salamander on the walk up to the cave.

Very close to Rasnov Citadel, the cave was discovered in 1949 but opened for public in 2010. The tour takes approx. 20 min and offers a great experience. Recommended.

The way to the cave is quite steep, but the view is amazing. After a 10 minute walk you will get to the cave. The entrance fee is 10 RON, which includes a guide that speaks English and Romanian. The cave is pretty cold, so...More

I've seen multiple reports that say there are bats, though we did not see any. We went midday - I guess you might be more likely to see them morning/evening. The inner chamber, which the bats would likely gravitate to... More
